Spot on too many of these stoves being built with rounded tops the great joy of a stove is cooking on it.

One little tip for anyone using this style of flat plate door/hatch hinges on a similar project.
When fitting them to the door and body, rather than bolting then up individually to weld them on, put all 4 pieces on a length of "All thread" bar, and clamp them at the required spacing using 4 nuts. Doing it this way makes it's almost impossible to weld the hinges on out of alignment, and once done you can swap the all thread for bolts to get a neater look.

Love the ingenuity, I built a mini tent wood stove myself out of shop scraps, the music however I could have done without. I prefer the natural sound of work and fire!

Cool stove. It's a bit too small for a cabin, and too heavy for a tent, but change the legs a little so it can be bolted down, and it would make a good stove for a boat.
