Skip to 7:55 for the actual building start...untill then is a tablet marketing.
Not buring clean. Air into combustion pan, setup for rotation and use the incoming airflow to cool the pan outer edges, keep heat in the centre/bottom of pan. Oil feed best dropped from height into the pan away from flame as it will likely burn oil in feed tube and carbonise blocking it.
Final advice for anyone building these, all combustian gasses need to be exhausted outside. Waste engine oil contains a lot of nasties to humans and burning it indoors releases these back into the air.
Example: We used to have a commercial unit buring our waste aircraft engine oil, I remember all the yellow deposites that would form around the hot air vents until I relaised what they were. The very same yellow deposits I would have to wash off the underside of the engine cowles near exhuast or blast off spark plugs. It was Lead and we in the workshop were breathing that Lead from the oil.
One recomendation i think would be great is to add a inline fan that would suck ambient air from outside instead of the air in the heated space....

Мне кажется что подача масла и воздуха должны вместе регулироваться. Подойдет перистальтический насос с редукторным мотором. А регулировать напряжение одновременно на воздушную турбину и насос для масла. 😅
Масло не успевает нагреваться, как итог плохое сгорание, трубу нужно сверху внутри камеры сгорания проводить прогретое масло будет давать больше тепла и лучше сгорать, да и кстати закрывать такой котёл нужно герметично чтобы пары сгоревшего масла не нападали в помещение, для того и ставиться вентилятор принудительной тяги😂
Everyone should have one like this. no oil problems and the air would be clean. I live in a house with 10 rooms so I make one for each room
I'm going to build one but add more of a down ward slope to the oil feed line to keep from build up and then feed the oil line through the blower tube as to help pull the oil from the tip of the oil feed cause they can build up with soot in a short time.

Great job, but you should suck air from outside, so that you dont remove the hot air from inside your workshop. 😄
heat rises, and this being on the floor will remove the cold air from the workshop floor
@@RakTheGoose the hot air from the stove will circulate the air, simply by heating it. No need to use inside air to get circulation 😁

Doesn't burn clean until it's up to temp, made several of them over the years. Smells like ass until you get it up to a good combustion temperature, and that stock pot won't last long !
how about if you replace the stock pot with something like well designed clay pot used for cooking will it able to withstand the usage for long?

a small sight glass on the side would be helpful to know oil level. over all nice build
The oil pipe that feed the burner must have 1° slope and I suggest you put the faucet as much as possible at the bottom of the oil tank so you can burn it all. You need also a purge valve at the oil tank bottom so you can clean oil residues that deposit at the bottom. You can cut the upper lid of the burner and mason some thermal bricks inside to store more heat. Well, you can improve a lot :)

В более менее герметичном помещении, воздуходувка создает пониженное давление воздуха в помещении и повышение внутри камеры сгорания. При негерметичной камере сгорания это создаст круговорот помещение - воздуходувка - камера сгорания - помещение, постепенно наполнив воздух продуктами горения и выжжет кислород чем убьет людей в помещении. При герметичной камере сгорания это вызовет быстрый выброс теплового воздуха в дымоход (он не успеет отдать тепло) и засос холодного воздуха в помещения сквозь щели в стенах/окнах/полу/потолке, что даст низкий КПД обогрева.
Well as i have ordinary sense, rather than make hole iinfront side u may use think glass it makes more atteacting/ seal packed and also avoid the burning fuel smell

@@meytv5691 ну может сейчас время конечно другое,а в 90х,начале 2000х такие печи очень даже были в ходу ,их и без принудительного поддува делали,правда розжигать дольше,пока не начнет воздух засасывать.

I would love to see how more efficient a waste oil stove would be if it was attached to a sand battery. At least 100 lbs of sand stored in a metal enclosure attached to a sidewall of the stove. After 4 or so hours, that sand battery should be close to 400 degrees and last for hours after the stove is out. It could cut the oil use in half. But I would to see a real world test of this.

just add a couple of 1" or 1 1/4" pipes at the top and connect them together. plus a circulation pump and 2 radiators and substantial heat.
My only concern is that cooking pot, the metal is too thin, will burn through eventually

Very nice. The only problem I could see is the air pipe not being sealed at the bottom. If the oil burn pot gets a hole or a leak it’ll burn out the bottom onto the floor.

odlična peć . Imam orginalnu na staro ulje i super je to što sve sagorijeva. Jedino ti dozator na tu pipu nije baš nešto.. Moja ima nekakav rotirajući mehanizam koji gura to ulje i promjenom broja okretaja se regulira tok .. To može grijat tako jako da pocrveni. Stavi još neki ventilator po tome da puše . Bolje će grijat . Samo ne prejak da ne smeta snimanju. JA ne mogu snimat kad moja radi . I da , stavi još jednu tavicu na čemu će gorjet koju ćeš moći lako izvadit van zbog čišćenja .

Probaj onaj dozator za infuziju uzet, koji regulira kapanje infuzije. Mada najvjerojatnije neće raditi kako treba jer je ulje gusto. Al da bi kojim slučajem radilo bilo bi odlično rješenje

Da li bi mogao da ostaviš sve dimenzije ili to može otprilike.I gde si nabavio tu malu turbinu.
Od prilike 😉 za dovod zraka koristio cijev 1" ( sve ukupno 2 cijevi, jedna je oko 80cm, a druga 30cm, ovisi o posudi) i koljeno pod 90 stupnjeva, za dovod ulja koristio cijev 1/2" ( sve ukupno 2 cijevi, jedna 40cm, a druga oko 15cm) ujedno za dovod ulja korištene 2 redukcije 1/2" na 1" i jedna redukcija 1" na 2" i koljeno 1"... Turbina s Aliexpressa...

I wonder the same thing, I built a waste oil burning device. It ran ok on regular oil but keeps going out using waste synthetic oil.

Nisam isprobao no vjerujem oko 4-5 sati...
Ko sem imel še centralno ogrevanje na kurilno olje sem porabil cca 10l kurilnega olja na dan za ogrevanje hiše, malo za primerjavo.
