Negative. Reagan inherited a bad economy from Carter and fixed it. Trump inherited a great economy from Obama, rode on his coattails
for 3 years, and flushed it down the toilet.
Reagan brought the country together, reached out to his political opposition, provided comforting words during times of national sorrow,
and was rewarded with a landslide reelection victory.
Trump just spread gas over everything, played only to his base, and got rejected at the polls.

If only the leaders and the people today were as loyal and together as we were then. Nowadays we not only have a problem of lack of leadership but also we have a nation of adult children who are so selfish and apathetic that you could not produce a leader to sway their stupidity and shallow minds. I'm happy to have lived through this time but it is bittersweet because it is evident that to imagine us regaining that is a 1 in a trillion chance and a delusion. Call me pessimistic or what you wish but sometimes you gotta wake up and realize the dream is over and reality has returned once again to meet you with its cold and emotionless embrace.

I served under 6 presidents and Reagan was definitely the best-a humble servant leader who his vision for our Country aligned with his personal vision of a better America through strong leadership. Truly miss him. Rest in eternal peace, Mr. President.
