We filmed this months back and completely forgot about it so it is finally here in all its chaotic, dice rolling glory!
We're back, finally with another MESBG Battle Report for your viewing pleasure.
This report sees the forces of Isengard lead by the ferocious Lurtz, pit themselves against the stalwart warriors of Moria lead by Balin in a 500 point clash in Seize the Prize!
Who's gonna come out on top?!?! Place ya bets Middle Earthians!
We'll be back with another battle report very soon, potentially seeing Elves taking on the Corsairs of Umbar with another channel regular but until then, as always...

Two other things missed, Kingdom of Moria gets to reroll 1s to wd in close combat. Also more crucial, Durins axe lets Balin reroll one dice in the duel roll. So vs the uruk who had the prize, it could have made a difference.
That aside, it was a great game that came down to a priority roll , lovely painted minis, great outdoor light & fantastic board. Great Stuff Guys! 👏
Yeah we missed a lot of rules this game haha, thank you for the support and kind words. We're getting better at remembering rules in the thick of the action now though lol

For the moria player could of swung game massively
Army bonus re roll 1s to wound
Durins axe re roll a duel
Balin and captains all have march to get to prize
Balins long beard rule can re roll priority
Shielding in so many places could of been crucial
Also i believe you pick prize up at end of movement so you couldnt of picked up and ran off with it

Haha we don't do tactics well but definitely some things that we picked up on after recording lol. Thank you for the heads up and hope you enjoyed!
don't forget that using balin's will you can re-roll the initiative ... plus durin's ax can re-roll a dice roll for the combat phase. the army bonus allows you to reroll 1's to wound in combat you miss 1 or 2 hit

Balin staying out of the combats until the final round was so wasteful. Allowed uruks to do too much damage.
