I have been muslim for 3 years and my parents don't know it. But I can't keep fast as I'm still young and live with my parents. I feel very sad because of it.
SubhanAllah! Thank you, brother, Luqman, for these suggested hacks. I wrote them down, and I make dua to utilize them during and after the month of Ramadan, Insha’Allah. For anyone who needs them, I’ll add them here. Step one: setting our intentions and practices for the month, of both what we want to do to continue reaching our most possible potential; and what we would like to relinquish that isn’t personally or spiritually conducive of these intentions. Step two: reflecting upon past Ramadans, in an honest manner of those experiences; and letting them (whether we practiced our intention and or fell short of them) be propellants to push forward, in change that’s always possible for us. Step three: writing down clear and specific goals for ourselves that we have, which can be visible guides to look at throughout and after the month. Step four: starting from an honest place of where we are, rather than where we want to be; in order to avoid burnout fueled by pushing ourselves beyond our limits. Which allows us to meet ourselves on where we are, and continuing in building our intentions and practices each day through consistency rather than intensity. Step five: utilizing healthy and sustainable habits we already practice, as foundations to stack on new habits for personal and spiritual growth. He mentioned this practice of “After [current habit], I will [new habit]”; which I loved. Step six: prioritizing our energy through recognizing when we are low or high in energetic flow. Using the time in which we have a high energy flow, for school or work. And, times in which we are low in energy; for spirituality (Quran, prayer, dua, etc), as these acts of worship will reenergize and nourish us. You can also do combinations of both instead of just sticking to one at a time. 🙏🏽
Motivation is temporary there is no permanent motivation, brother Luqman you should have said the word " Discipline " instead for only with that can we do what goals we have written down. Having a system/routine of doing things is better than goals like i said before goals require motivation, discipline requires a system. Salam, Nice vid tho
