I'd love to see a show where Karl takes Ricky and Steve around the estate where he grew up. Showing them where tattoo Stan lived, where the horse in the house was and his school where all the freaky kids were educated.

The regular listeners were used to Jonathon Ross and then stumbled upon this comedic work of art and never went back.

After about 5 years of listening to the XFM shows this is amazing, I've heard the other BBC show (French food in hand) but never this, such a happy moment to have a brand new episode it's like they've reformed.

I actually disagree, some XFM recordings sounded really bad but most of them sound abit clearer than this ; the low mid range sounds very fuzzy and distorted from the tape. Sounds like abit to much gain.

Ricky gives the example of “what’s an Evertonian” (although granted I’ve only heard that term in reference to football supporters, as opposed to being a Liverpudlian, ie from Liverpool which would’ve been a far more helpful example) and Karl just chops off the entire “lonian” part of the word and simply goes for “baba” … unbelievable.
He truly is a bald little round headed buffoon of a man. And I love him with all my heart. 😂

Think I've only ever worked out a maximum of three Rockbusters on these shows. One of them was Mister Mister. Can't remember what the others were.

I was kind of disappointed when ricky came up with a basic jingle, I was hoping for something more like "OooOooh, whats he made up now?! THOUGHT OF THE DAY!"
