Yes, BUT you also get what you pay for!!.....for the average guy Harbinger is fine, but it's NOT professional level equipment, and don't be delusional to think "actual" professionals are using them, because you're in for a reality check.

@@storeykI use these professionally, and they have never let me down. The key is to use them for what they are designed for. They are designed for. If you take two of these, and try to do an outdoor concert for 2000 people, they may not do too well, and neither will any speaker in its class. If you take those same two subs and put them in a room with a few hundred people, they will do just fine.

These Sub are SICK!!! It punches so clean, and louder and better than my EVs sub. I have 4 of these, a few eq tweak and WOW! It shakes the entire 6,000 sqft room.

Nothing against Harbinger, that's actually a nice looking subwoofer. But everyone says "you need big drivers to reach that 20 Hz mark". Well here is an 18" subwoofer that hits 35 Hz. I know of another 10" subwoofer that can hit 16 Hz, and the brands 12" does just that, down to 12 Hz. It's the RSL Speedwoofer. It's for home, not professional application, and certainly won't be as nearly as loud as the Harbinger. But I just get tired of the repeated notion: a large driver means lowest frequencies. Nice Sub by Harbinger by the way. They seem to be offering some good Pro Audio components right now! Thanks for the video! As always!
Not just driver size but desired output at said frequencies you need large cabinets and big drivers to reach 35hz at high SPL physics remains undefeated

I run the mls1000 for weddings and love them. I would like to see you guys test the LD ICOA SUBA. I've heard they are the best on the market for the price and beating the more expensive QCS, EV, and JBL models. I know you tested the ICOA 15BT and I just bought a pair of those.
Bullshit.......they are NOT beating JBL or QSC...Period, The End.....sorry but you're just straight delusional, someone has to call you out...... There's nothing wrong with budget stuff, but trying to say it's better than Pro level stuff is where it crosses the line....you're misleading people. If you've never run Pro Level Equipment, everything is going to sound good, because you have nothing "better" to compare it to!
@2 Dudes Audio, I remember watching your first video a few years ago on this product brand. What made you bring them back for another review with there newer models?.
They sent us their entire new line to check out. We liked the improvements we saw, so we figured we would share that with you guys.
A few years ago Harbinger wasn't really anything that stood out and their products fell short in a lot of ways, but it seems that they have taken their customer's criticism to heart and now are putting out some really decent speakers!!!

IIrc, on the previous iteration, the V2318s, y'all really liked the driver, overall build quality, and audio performance. However, y'all were not impressed by the amp. What did you see in the V2318s that Harbinger seemed to address in the VS18?
For close to that price point I'd stick with the LD icoa 18.

@@chazpozzi All the way, I run a sound reinforcement company that do all sorts of gigs from big to small. I've always been an RCF guy, we run a couple of the 8004's, and recently brought a couple of "cheapies" for satellite units at larger gigs and damn were we surprised. honestly the Icoa 18 keeps with it.
We love LD!!! We'll be chatting with them at the NAMM Convention in January!

if you had $800, would you rather buy 2 x 12's or 1 x 18 sub? some people are a fan of "stereo" subs, but 2 x18's isn't an option right now becuase of cost.
I currently have two 10" subs that arent doing the trick for me. I'm starting to do some live mixing for bands indoor and outdoor. Would this be a sub that could handle those types of events? Would it provide a good punch for the kick drum? Thanks!
