I had the same problem. The sensor that you replaced (With the black plug) is really the fan sensor (gives you a return code of 69 when faulty). The other sensor with the green plug is really the coolant sensor (gives you a return code of 9 when faulty). I made the mistake of mixing them up (easy to do as most store databases are messed up as well). I replaced the black plug sensor and the fan constantly because I received the wrong part for my car. So since I mixed them up in my mind, I replaced the green plug sensor. Fan still ran constantly, but I noticed that fault code 9 disappeared. So I put the original black plug in. Car ran normally with no fault codes. Also from what I read, code 69 is unique to 1993 2.5 L engines and Mazda simplified it for 1994 with one sensor doing both jobs. Hope this is helpful to someone in the future.

Hey man. What would be the issue for a code 6
I have the same problem fans go on when engine is still cold.
I'm not an expert, but I think you read a few of those codes wrong bro.
Did you ever fix this???
My cooling fans are doing the same thing!
