I believe that the Steyr Scout rimfire rifles are pretty much the same, but I’m not sure. I’ve got this rifle, but in a black walnut stock and chambered in .22lr. If you live in Canada, you can find them pretty easily through 'Bullseye sporting goods in Ontario and many other places.

I’m a C-5/6 quadriplegic and got the S.P.A hoping that I’d be able to work the action, but it’s pretty difficult for me as I don’t have much strength in my arms. My K31 in 7.5 x 55 is probably easier to cycle! This is not a comparable rifle to the Izhmash Model 7-2, or a Fortner equipped Anschutz...and is about 1/8 of the price of the Anschutz, so don’t expect a Biathlon quality firearm. Nice enough rifle, with a walnut stock! Black plastic stocks should be cheaper than Black Walnut.
B. Frew I sent mine into Steyr. The bolt was tight. When I got it back it was like butter. Call and ask for Herbert. Tell him your predicament. He should help you out.

Es la mejor municion en este calibre, sin duda. Yo a 100 yardas las meto todas en una monedas de 2 euros. La de 20 grains varía algo, pero la de 17 es perfecta!
Eu não consigo entender o porque efetuar disparos sem munições na camara ...se a agulha bate seco na borda do cano. E outra parece estar com raiva da arma...pancada para repor carregador...pancada no ferrolho para remuniciar...arma se trata como uma dama querida...com amor e carinho!
Great review.... obviously can't speak, which shots were at what range? How was the Trigger? How did it feed? Any hangups?...... Nothing, just some dumb arse shooting at a cardboard box and dry fireing a rimfire. Give it away old son, your movie career is limited.
The rife sounds like someone spits why people keep using the silent suppressor for ? The .22 lr, .17 and . 22 magnum don't affect people's ears much. I hate the thing that I had mentioned a because which makes the rifle looks ugly and it's too quiet. I know it's deadly but It's not my kind. I have a Sako 85 Bavarian .270 WSM, Remington .270 standard, Ruger 10/20 .22 lr, Ruger 10/22 .22 magnum and a new M1 22 carbine version, all these rifes without any silent suppressors.
The 17HMR is pretty loud w/out a suppressor on. I liken iit ot a shotgun, it rings my ears! Nice at night for rabbit or foxes to not disturb close to houses etc.
That 17 hmr your shooting looks cheap and nasty get your self browning t bolt 17 hmr and moderator to finish it of would be wildcat whisper.17 hmr silencer

He's New Zealand based, from the name on the gun bag. Suppressors are legal here. Most gunshops have them.

Neng Vang the suppressor is to not bother people with the noise and save your hearing. This caliber is pretty loud!
