NEW FAN: 48" New Fan (View Fan) N-101C Ceiling Fan

This fan came from an estate sale on Craigslist and I couldn't resist saying no to it since it would end up being my first spinner fan to end up in my collection. This fan was manufactured in Hong Kong by View Fan c. 1980s. It's equipped with a 4 blade only 178x26mm cast iron spinner motor. It has 4 included Teak blades (which I could be wrong) with an upwards blade pitch. Light kit adaptable by removing the nut from the bottom. Single speed (which can be operated by any control), and non-electrically reversible (downdraft only). The original 3uf start capacitor had drifted to a 2.12uf, which will need to have its capacitor replaced. The bearings may need to be replaced as it has a little dry bearing noise (can hear in person, but not on camera). The ring also sometimes comes apart from the motor. An interesting tidbit here is the black wire is served as hot like most (if not all) fans we've seen. However, the yellow wire is served as the neutral opposed to using white, and the red wire is served as ground opposed to using green.
