UPDATE: Just got word today directly from Abu Garcia that the Max X (coming out in April) will replace the Black Max. On paper it looks like subtle changes with a similar price tag. I expect it to be great, but we will see!
The other day Walmart got a whole new stock of fishing gear in, two aisles' worth. The one product that had only one left in its spot was this rod/reel combo. And I got that last one. LOL. Either they got snapped up by our local fishing shoppers or some small store owner bought them all for their stock. I dunno. But these obviously went flying out of the store asap!

Just picked one of these up and love it. Not as smooth as my SLX MGL70, but it cast great.
