Lots of people romanticize past ages, for many reasons. But I must say, this is the best time to be alive. A time where you can meet awesome people around the globe, and listen to this, just to feel good again when you're down. Thank you, Adam.
Your damn right and let me tell you why. Dentistry has come a long way. Everyone before the 1930s past a certain age had been through the equivalent of a torture session. Being held down as they screamed their throat raw and the pain if they were lucky made them pass out, And everyone past a certain age had this spectre of true bloody pain in mind. A hive memory of torture if you will that meant when the old man sees they young man he knows the bravery is just a fool whistling past the graveyard. But they will see what’s there eventually.
Source- my grandfather who was born in 1896 died in 1995. He told me in detail about how things were back then. 😊

Very often the case. But then, that depends on the group. Compare the westboro Baptist church to schoolism - one dedicates itself to hating immigrants and homosexuals, the other dedicated itself to empowering and inspiring people
I think it's not good to describe something as negative or positive imo because they both exist for each other. That's what I go with and sadness hasn't bothered me because I know the good times because of sadness. Individuals can have negative qualities depending on the person who looks at them and have vice versa. So everything is connected perfectly in like a knitting of sweater holding together a whole clothing. All of us make what we are, yet each one of has the power to influence massive changes.

What you are talking about feels REAL. And that is exactly why I am listening to your channel all the time. Sometimes just in the background while working because what you say connects with me and it never for one second felt like you're trying to sell me anything. And you are pretty open book and talk about things I am constantly thinking about that are just too deep for most people to even get in to - either they aren't able to vocalize it or have problems sharing these deep thoughts with others. Those things, by the way, are the recipe for a successful channel in my opinion. Thanks for everything you do Adam, have a great new year!

All the love for you Adam. It's great to hear how the community you have formed is so positive and supportive. Your message has always had this spark of hope and joy like few other YT creators have. I resonate with your message about turning off the TV. As a sensitive person, all the negative energy on the news ended having a toll on me, seeing the world as a horrible place to be. Ignoring the news had a great effect on my mental health. Really, you don't need them. Probably 98% of it it's useless, and the rest, well, you will know eventually through family and friends.
I want to thank you for all the good vibes you have given us during these years. After 10 years working as a professional, I decided to come and study concept art in Montreal, and so far, it has been one of the experiences in my life (full of highs and lows). Have you guys watched The Witcher on Netflix? Kinda what it feels like sometimes. You try to do good, but lots of people still show you the ugliest side of the world. Geralt isn't perfect but I think he's an amazing character because he perseveres in his moral compass regardless of the hate and animosity in our world. If everyone drops their pitchforks like Adam says, we'd see more eye to eye and realized we're all the same silly gooses. Happy 2020.
I agree, theres lots of morale in Witcher world. When i play the game in W3 : Wild Hunt. Theres a choice to do good thing, but still had consequences. No matter what we choose

Just people, who’re used to perceiving kindness and support as weakness; where toxicity is a way of life. “That which is falling, deserves to be pushed” Nietzsche philosophy, you know.
And it’s damn hard to keep the state of mind you’re talking about in such surroundings. But it’s also vitally necessary to do so not to become a part of it and keep the hope for something better to come into your life. And your videoblogs are a magical helping hand!
No words are enough to express the overwhelming feeling of gratitude I feel towards you for sharing all these beautiful thoughts with the world. I know I became a better person, when I met many awesome people around the world and could continue the dialogue online - God save Internet for that! The world is huge. Well ... This is strange to me! these last days I've been earing about universal sincronicity when everything arrive JUST! in time, well today as I leave the bath of taking a shower ... I stop One second and thougth ... I've really done and help so many people ... why am I even feeling like nothing ... empty, even though I have done all of that cool stuff, And I didn't expect to find an answer so quickly, its funny cause 2 weeks ago I draw a cool starwars spaceship and I looked at it yesterday and thougth oh damn I was able to draw that ? why Today (yesterday) I feel like o forgot every thing I've learn about drawing ? Thx with all my heart I'm eternally greatful with you adam and I hope one day I will be able to get your mentorship!

Divisiveness is antithetical to productivity.
I turned off the tv a few years ago as well and rarely watch now. I draw instead. I've found that most bad news is "big" or exaggerated, and thus on the news. But the "positive" news is mostly the smaller more every day things that the news finds dull. It's the guy giving the 88 yr old grandma his first class plane ticket, the child giving away her birthday toys to a friend who's sick, the people buying coffee for the car behind them, etc. There are probably millions more good things, than bad. They just don't make the news.

I envy the paradise you live in, but you are talking more about yourself and the ppl around you, and that cannot be said about world at large. It's survival of the fittest out there. Everyone gauges everything about you by the amount of money you make. Don't get caught with your guard down, or they WILL ruin you. An unbiased positive outlook on life is only going to lead to disappointment. Be careful out there.

nice diplomatic speech but what if those people hate you for who you are tho? sure is easy to say that from a priviledged perspective.. and that's not to be taken as an offence but a fact. it's true we should listen to each other and such, but there's lots of unkind people whose actions no matter if survival mode are not justified. just ignoring the bad and living in a "happy" bubble will eventually cause unsupervised things go out of control. like for instance our little climate problem. but that's just my own insignificant opinion I guess.
