Wow, that last story was really, really relatable. I was in the exact same situation. My brother also has a girlfriend (now fiance) who has parents just like that. They even took their kid's money that they worked for if they had a job. For drugs and such, she told me. She even moved in with us after her parents kicked her out because she hid a gold necklace she got for her 18th birthday from her aunt in our safe. She knew her dad would come looking for it and try to sell if for money. Sure enough, one day she came home from school and her dad cornered her asking where the heck it was. He had gone through her room looking for it to pawn. She told him she put it in our safe because she knew he would try to steal it, and he was livid. he kicked her out, and even threw things at her. She came to live with us until she left for college on a scholarship. At first it was really hard for her, years and years of mental abuse like that really took it's toll on her. She would never ever ask for anything, and she felt horrible just eating dinner with us. She always felt like she was this huge problem to us. Eventually things started looking up for her and she has gotten more confident and sure of herself. We always told her she was a part of our family and now she believes it too. She still has a long way to go, and her parents still call sometimes and try to guilt trip her into giving them money, (She has a stable job on her campus, and is looking great financially) but she is the happiest she's ever been. I'm so happy my family was able to get her out of that toxic house, and I do hope that someday her parents become worthy of calling themselves mom and dad. I wish the best upon her other 6 siblings. Yeah, her parents are also choosingbeggers. But anyway, everything is great now, it was about two years ago now. And I'm even one of her bridesmaids. It's great.

Friend of mine in the IT brance found an apprenticeship description of 5 years practical expierience with a programming langueage that just exists since 3 years or so. This summs up basically the whole situation in IT and elektronic enineering brance here... So yea... Edit: If you are refering to Kindergeld then no, you get the money no matter what when ur studying, this means you do not have to work to get the money. You can also request Bafög where u usually have to pay back half of the money you were given by the state over a couple of years after you finished your study and found a job.

The story about the job:
I worked for a resturant as a bus boy, waiter and dish washer. I had only worked there for maybe 2 weeks and I was told by a friend to completely ignore the kid that was sitting at table 1. I asked why and he told me that the kid was the managers son an he get to do whatever he wants when he's there except for when the owner stops by then he acts like an angel. The entire week while the kid was there I was doing the dishes. Well during that week I would take my break sitting in my truck to listen to the radio an smoke my cigar. The kid comes outside and walks towards my truck looking like he was gonna sit in my truck. I watched as he reached for the door handle so I locked it. He yells at me like I'm preventing him from getting into his own car. I told the kid: 1 I don't like you and 2 I don't know you so you can't just get into my truck. He walked away an soon my break was over so I went back to work. I didn't have any other issues with the kid for the rest of the day till that next morning. He came into work with makeup on his eyes making it look like he had to black eyes and tried to say I punched him before work and that he wanted me to be fired. I told his mom and dad that if I supposedly punched him for them to call the police. Which they did call the cops an when they got there I told the officer that I didn't touch the kid and that they need to wipe the makeup off the kids face because it looks like crap. He asked if it was makeup an he said no it isn't. The officer walked up to the kid and could smell the makeup coming from his face. Now with all of this going on none of us knew that the owner was in the office watching and listening to the hole thing. The manager told the officers that it wasn't makeup claiming that I slugged her son for no reason. The cop walked into the kitchen and grabbed a brand new rag, got it wet and walked up to the kid to wipe the makeup off and the kid started to back away from the cop trying to protect his ruse. Well the cop reached out an grabbed the kid an wiped his left eye and sure enough it was makeup. The cop said that he was going to charge the mom, dad an kid for making fraudulent claims wasting tax payer money. By this time owner walks out scaring me because he walked out from behind me and told the cop that he could add Tresspassing aswell. He fired the mother right there on the spot and banned them from returning.

You can get it over 18 if you are a student in a university, an apprentince, doing a FSJ or JĂJ. The maximum age is when you turn 25. But you can get it longer when the time is interrupted by service for the country. So I did military service for 10 months and I got the 10 months on top when I was a student.
No, you get it until you finished your first job training, but max until you get 26yo. But when you get 18yo just must provide the government with your bank account because it is unlawful to pay it to your guardian after that day. If you go to school and study you get it until you get the degree or get 26yo. If you train for a job (apprentice, vocational training etc.) you get it until you get your journeymans certificate, but if you study without pause after that in the same area state child support continues. For example have an apprenticeship as a toolmaker and after that study to be a mechanical engineer. Or train as a nurse and study to be a medical doctor. A pause is allowed if it's required because of the date semester starts or something like that and you can work in that time without loosing the child support. Same rules are for child support after a divorce. If you work longer than a year without training for a job and earn your own money you loose every right to child support. Same when your pause is longer than a year.

13:50 The Studenka train crash is a good example that it can go really wrong both ways. A smaller truck was carrying aluminium sheets and stopped on train tracks, instead of just going through the barrier which they are designed for in case you get stuck on tracks. The train barreled through it and I think 7 people in the train got killed. Ofc the truck was totaled too, but depending on the cargo it can really create havoc.

That part about shitty bosses reminded me when I used to work in a local restaurant, just for fun. I didn't need the money, I just thought I had nothing better to do in my 4 month holidays.
Now I was an excellent waiter and cared a lot about my customers and when the food is good, customers act good too. So I quickly gained popularity, so much so, that some table would request me by name to serve them.
My manager didn't like that, cuz he knew I was going to quit once my college started, and he made life hell for me after about 3 months. He would tell me wrong orders purposefully, then laugh at my face when I got it wrong. He would schedule me less and less(tho that didn't stick long cuz customers wanted me) and he would trip in when I was holding plates.
Eventually I filed a complaint, and instead, I was fired cuz I was "temporary".
Fast forward 3 months, I go to eat at that restaurant and it is closed!!!
Turns out that my coworkers were extremely angry with how they treated me and no1 would work there anymore, so they just closed down and the manager had a very bad reputation, so no restaurant would take him in
