I am a real world Airbus pilot with thousands of hours flying the real aircraft and thought it would be fun to have a look at the new detailed simulation of the longest baby 'bus by Toliss as well as the new MSFS a320 NEO. Hopefully you find this useful and it brings another perspective to your simulation. Any thoughts or comments are welcome!

To then be able to do a continuous descent approach (CDA) it could be best to do it in VS rather than managed descent. You could also get speed constraints by ATC and will therefore have to manually set the speed. Theres also instances where the ATC wants you to descend with a certain vertical speed due to traffic or airspace restrictions. :D

Thank you for showing how to sequence your fixes for getting vectors onto the ILS. That was the main thing I was wondering about with the Airbus, and it seems a lot of tutorials skim over that part.
Side note, but this is one of the biggest gripes I have with the Aerosoft CRJ, which is you can’t sequence the box like you can in the real CRJ. Really shows the difference in quality and attention to detail of a real study-sim level aircraft.

I want to say thank you for these tutorial videos. You are an excellent teacher in this series. I'll just start by saying I am not a real world pilot (yet!), merely just a aviation and flight sim enthusiast who has recently started flying airliners about a month ago. I started with the pmdg 737 and after getting the hang of that I decided I wanted to give the airbus a try and picked up the Fenix. Honestly, if it weren't for your videos I would of put this aircraft back in the hanger and left it there. The amount of information needed to be input is overwhelming, at least in my personal comparison to the 737 which I may be doing wrong in that case. So again, thank you for these videos as it has made it much easier to begin practicing virtual flights!

thanks very much for a very informative video. It answered a lot of my questions, especially about the difference between baro and radio. At the moment I don't have Fenix, but use the FBW. Presumably all that you said here applies there as well. Will be getting the Fenix though, as it seems to be on a different level. thanks again.

Could you do a detailed VATSIM/ATC beginner lesson? There's so much to say and focus on at each stage but using ATC really elevates the experience!

Thanks for the video. I'm a Boeing guy, I have being flying PMDG since FSX, I clocked some flight time with the fslabs A320 but not getting familiar with the A320 thanks to your videos. After the basics I want to get more indeedpt with the systems. Cheers.

Thank you for continuing to do these instructional videos. Will you be doing an RNAV approach tutorial at some point?
