Not sure how you all get this aircraft to work properly. I think the FBW is far superior to Fenix. I've had nothing but problems with the autopilot and ILS/autoland with Fenix. I don't care much for the EFB either. Or I'm doing everything wrong which is what Occam's razor would suggest. In fact, I don't think Ive had a successful flight with the Fenix yet, and Ive tried several.

My concern is that all these careers they are showing are going to be single missions that have the exact same pre programmed experience like the current activities and that they won’t be full dynamic careers!

Do you think it will be good enough to use for a sim assessment at a real world airline?!

Looking forward to v2024. The things I remember most fondly with earlier FS releases (FSX & Co) were the missions. I'm glad the next release will focus on this side. It's important to realise that 'interesting things to do', as well as encouraging more folks to purchase, will also aid hugely in encouraging folk to learn their aircraft. That's a win : win. Additionally, the 'serious' flying side of Flight Simulator will always be available for those who want to focus on that.

Yeah not for me, it hard enough in sun with sun issues - I know the “cheaper” payware sometimes sell well but I’d rather have an excellent product with all systems & avionics working correctly for more than not.

Would be cool if you fly on VATSIM in a video!

That breaking glass sound seems to be some sort of bug where the internal sounds go off when you change the camera position then comes back on with a relay crack when you reset to the default camera.

If I understand correctly, you had the engine start mode switch in the wrong postion for startup. On the checklist it says "NORMAL - START" but if you read the tip at the bottom it says it wants you to push it into "GROUND" and check that lights up on the warning panel. Also I think their checklist is back to front about when the NTS caption should illuminate. I also think the start regulator button is modelled to do absolutely nothing. The fact that I had opposite selection on the start position bar and got exactly the same results as you makes me think the systems modelling on this plane is completely bollocksed. Also the throttle changes the airspeed almost instantly when flying. You can almost watch the needle flutter in unison as you wang the throttle up and down. Maybe it's because the airframe is so draggy, but it seems very odd. Still it looks amazing from the outside. As my son said "You have to get it to honour the chonk."

great vid, but when I decend (i use the inibuilds a320) the magenta managed speed on the pfd shows 0, and the engines stay in idle. Any ideas how to fix this, is this my fault or a glitch? This is after entering the targeted speed in the decent page in fmc.
