I once heard a preacher say the same thing. If one is worried that they may have committed the unpardonable sin, then they haven't. Great lesson!

Thank you for preaching right from the Bible. It is really sad that there are people that have closed their eyes and ears to what the Bible teaches and believe what someone else says without checking if it is true. I am so thankful for the Gospel Broadcast Network.

Thank you so very much brother Blackwell for such a clear and logical explanation of this topic. I have never truly understood the scriptures you mentioned here even when other preachers have given lessons on it. It only confused me that much more.
You have cleared up a great deal of my confusion and misunderstanding and are truly a blessing to Christians and non-Christians alike.

I have always assumed that the Pentacostel faith was guilty of blaspheming the Holy Spirit by attributing the miracles and gifts they pretend to do as this very thing Christ spoke against

The hardness of heart I believe that, the not repenting ok & I’m glad you have addressed this.
    This makes sense me.
It doesn’t matter what I believe it’s God’s Word That IS Truth. GOD CANT LIE.
Can I ask though wouldn’t just flat out rejecting Jesus whether a Christian once then fell away or never believing at all, be Blasphemy? Thank you

Are you familiar with the school of thought that says Paul's fatal persecution of Spirit filled Stephen was the unforgivable sin and that Jesus used His new position as the ascended Lord to not only forgive Paul but then used him to preach the gospel of imputed righteousness through faith? I feel like it makes pretty good sense and Paul seems to say this directly (1 Timothy 1:15-16) but most Bible teachers I follow don't agree it's an accurate doctrinal connection.
1 Timothy 1:15-16 (all caps for doctrinal emphasis)
15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 16 However, FOR THIS REASON I obtained mercy, that in ME FIRST Jesus Christ might SHOW ALL LONGSUFFERING, AS A PATTERN to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

You’re right, there’s no secret ambiguous Sin against the Holy Spirit which is the only unforgivable sin??? That would make God a gnostic and a liar if there’s secret knowledge and God is not a liar, it’s impossible for him to lie!

    • @jjphank
      @jjphank Před 3 měsíci

@@devinwaggoner702 good question, here’s the answer: the day they eat the fruit they will die. They didn’t know what death was Because nothing died yet and God is showing that death is a continuous state therefore hell is continuous because they started dying, both spiritually and physically That Day! so this corroborates with hell being eternal and death being a process, in hell where you’ll never die.
Genesis 2:17 Romans 5:17 1 Corinthians 15:22 prove not only that, but prove the law of entropy, the only worldview that shows the second law of thermodynamics, and how it happened. This is at the beginning of the Bible.
The first law is Genesis 1:1

@@devinwaggoner702Devin. GOD told Adam that in the day he ate of the forbidden tree he would die. Adam did really die in the day just as GOD said so GOD did not lie. How was it possible for Adam to live to 930 years yet die in the day he disobeyed and ate the fruit? 2 Peter 3:8 explained it, that is, GOD'S day being as 1000 years and 1000 years as one day. Hence Adam living to only 930 years literally died within GOD'S day. I hope this helps. I'm willing to use the scriptures to tackle other questions you may have. A good day to you.

If a Christian mouths off & blunders by saying a message of truth is the message of a demon, I think that is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. We have to be careful we know what we're talking about when we speak. Be careful how you word something if you for some reason don't like what you hear or don't understand. Be quick to hear & slow to speak. Don't mouth off & say something you'll regret.

Gospel broadcasting network, the sin unto death is not believing the Gospel. Like you don't. Hence your erroneous beliefs that you have to be baptised in water to be saved.
Saved people know that water baptism doesn't save. Those that believe they have to be baptised in water to be saved aren't saved.
Nowhere does the Biblical Greek say water baptism saves, remits sins, washes sins away or regenerates. You aren't saved, and that's a Biblical fact.

      1. Pet 3:18-22 NKJV "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. There is also an antitype which now saves us-baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him."

[1] What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? [2] By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? [3] Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? [4] We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life." Ephesians 2:8 ESV‬

And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God" I had faith in Jesus Christ that he died and rose again for me and his blood washes away my sins and that He gave me the gift of salvation like colossians says I've been Made qualified to protake in the gift. @@CtM-LA1803 Rom 6: 3 isn't water baptism, it's the Spiritual rebirth, "1 Cor 12: 13".
To say it's water baptism, is to say water is greater than the Holy Spirit. The Bible records three Christian baptisms, and you have to know which baptism each scriptures are talking about.
Rom 6. Col 2 and Gal 3, are all the rebirth. When people are baptised into The body of Christ.
Matt 3: 11. Acts 1: 4--5 is the baptism with the Holy Ghost. Two different experiences.
Acts 2. Acts 8. Acts 10. Acts 19 are all water baptism by the authority of Jesus. NOT in the name of Jesus as the translators have misled people with.

Sir, you are wrong about what you're saying when it come to salvation. If a person is stubborn and don't repent, it's because he never was born again in the first place. When you saved and born again, you have a new heart, a new spirit, a new mind, a new disposition. Everything's changed. It is the promises of God from Jeremiah 31 and Ezekiel 36. And have you read 1st John chapter 3:8 and 9? You can't lose something that don't belong to you. Salvation is a gift. It wasn't earned. Look at the atrocious things David did. Abraham did salvation is not based off how many moral sins we commit. Salvation is based off the debt that was paid by Jesus Christ works. You just contradicted the scriptures 1st John 1 and 9
