Northerners including Fulanis will not take risk and invest in Igbo land or import goods through Sea ports located in Igbo land to be burnt by IPOB terrorists with Igbos' support. We Northerners have learnt lesson from the activities of IpoB Terrorists always targeting Northerners, especially traders supplying food items to the south East, killing them and burning their trucks.About two months ago, Igbos burnt Hausa Muslim markets and demolished their mosques in the south East. So, if we need any alternative to Lagos Sea ports,we have Baro sea Ports in Niger state at phase 1 and 2 , and final phase 3 will have to be completed by Niger State Government.Also,we will put pressure on Kebbi state Government to construct Sea ports at Yelwa yauri and LoLo on the river Niger. When these sea Ports are completed the whole Northern Nigeria,Niger Republic, Mali and Burkina Faso, will not need to use sea Ports in Lagos and Cottonou. So, you can confine your Abia sea Ports to Igbos;we don't need them because of risks involved. You understand?

If it is true that your people have suffered, it is because you have zero local input into the products you sell. Sustainable development is guaranteed through creating consumer goods from available local resources (both natural & human) for the local & international markets. In other words, being middlemen sellers has its diisadvantages. Produce many of the goods you sell and watch what will happen! Lagos will come to the South-East to buy them.
