Many lessons to be learned from this video. In a firestorm one is basically on their own and prior fire abatement steps may help along with a fire evacuation plan. Expect little or no fire suppression and be prepared to fight fires on your own if the police haven't issued an evacuation order/demand (assuming it IS safe to remain in place), therefore - have an actual fire hose of your own to reach the nearest fire hydrant with a suitable nozzle and wrench to open the hydrant valve and abate the fire/fire risk to your home & neighborhood.
@@ferfmedia4255 Would you mind if I used a few seconds of your footage for my documentary The Fire Cats? It's about the animal rescuers during the Tubbs and Camp Fires. Email me at ravenshoemedia(at)gmail.com
JacindaBean wow just had to say you are incredibly beautiful. This was terrible I don't understand how trees are still standing while everything else is pure ash
Hi FERF Media! I'm at ABC News Nightline in New York. Would you be willing to let us use a couple of seconds of footage from this video for a piece, if we gave you an on-screen credit for your CZcams channel and your name?
Was this really on the 8 of October? Didn't the fire started around 10pm of that day? My family and I had to evacuate from my house on the 9th in the middle of night around 4am! Fortunately enough, we are fine as well as our property.
I am really concerned and have been like many people I was stunned by the lack of concern the News media had for our Nation's emergency disaster many elderly and families died in this .Yet nothing is mentioned about this on CZcams or Google or Facebook like they did in France when the terrorist killed all those at a night club. This is frightening in the sense that American's have turned a blind eye or they are not being told by the News media either by Radio or by enternet or by cable. It's still is fresh in my heart and mind I pray all those who can go back and build their homes and those who were raised their may go back to live in newly affordable housing.JESUS NAME LORD Bless them.
Hey, I would like to use like 3 seconds of this video, do you give me the permission to download this video and use it in a music video? I can buy it as well. Very well done and thank you for making this video.
I live in this neighborhood. Adding street names shown in this video. Good video but hard to watch for us locals.Time index 2:52 Sansone Drive, Time index 5:05 is San Miguel and Santiago Drive, 5:35 is San Marcos and San Sonita Dr, 6:02 is Walnut Grove St, 6:59 is Canary Place, Time index 9:09 is Holly Park Way (my street), 9:22 is Sweetgum Court, 10:11 is Schafer Elementary School, 10:38 Walnut Grove street, 11:57 is San Miguel and Walnut Grove St.
Love the two firetruck scenes. Every other house has burned to white ash - to the foundation. And they're just pumping out the water on homes that are long since totally gone. At least near the end of the video one firehouse was wetting down the house next door to a home nearly burned to the ground. As if that was doing anything. This was not a "forest fire gone suburban" by any stretch. Surely any former homeowner looking around at the utter meltdown, molten aluminum having drained out of their engine blocks and wheels knows this was something out of the ordinary.
If people cannot tell this is a WAR their brain is fried. Where are all of the people? The cars are still parked and burned and did the people get cremated in their homes? Where are they? Where are the shelters?
Many of the trees survived because they sucked all that water we received from a very wet winter. Wet wood doesn't like to burn. The homes were dry wood.
mike vonkleist you must be really dumb or brainwashed, those homes are stucco with terracotta tile roofing, so you're saying some wet trees won't burn while steel is melted to nothing? wow keep watching CNN
stupid statement. I cut and remove trees, and you can burn them. I can cut down a tree during the wet season, put it in the fire pit, and it will burn after an hour or two...and thats in very low heat like in a fire pit.

*HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD:* The iniquity of California is exceedingly great and your cities are full of perversity says the LORD. The fires are a warning, a representation of your approaching ruin. California, YOU brazenly bask in your sins! You call good evil and evil good! You regard not my counsels and draw my coming wrath upon you. When sin comes before me, judgments come next....and oh, California, your sins are great and ripe for judgment! So says the LORD.
Luke 9:51-56 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he [The Messiah] should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, and sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
Thx for posting. What incredible devastation!
great work
Excellent footage...really shows the destruction in a different light than from wide shots at night.
Crazy..thanks
The trees are perfect right next to a house totally burnt to the ground
Amazing what scrub brush and high winds can do Aye?
Very “clean”fire...
Can't imagine the intensity of these fires, the video is wonderful considering the subject.

3:43 Can you explain why they let their cars burn here?
spanking new car from insurance?
No time to grab them, new car from insurance, family with multiple cars, car collector, not allowed to come back for them. Lotsa reasons.

Directed Energy Weapons
Fire hot enough to melt an engine from a car and yet not burn any trees next to the car???

The melted metals have something profoundly different then those trees do....they had direct flame contact, the trees did not.

pffft. Are you the "Lord" wiseguy? No? Then quit with the judgemental bullishat. This is a man-made disaster.
