Massive Wildfire Forces Evacuations In Santa Rosa

- Evacuations were declared for neighborhoods in the northern part of Santa Rosa due to a massive wildfire that broke out late Sunday night. Katie Nielsen reports. (10/9/17)

Alot of mobile homes use propane tanks for heating. That's awful now, it means the fire is really hot and hard to put out....
we had to evacuate out house it was like 2 blocks away from Rincon valley... where i live!!

There must be some 737's and 747's sitting idle in every major airport hangar that could be used for additional fire fighting service(s) to dump fire retardant and massive amounts of water to help with these fires. Could you imagine how much water could be dumped on these fires with jumbo jets?

They already use large airplanes for this purpose. How ever, they do not fly at night and would have been grounded even if this fire started during the day due to extremely high and erratic wind.
California needs to learn about controlled burning, earthen barriers etc. ALL common sense measures that any sensible person should already know.
The GOP needs to educate these less fortunate.

The state of California started the whole flame retardant materials act . Along time ago , And when you watch the fire video's . You see houses burning . All the while the trees are green . And not burning . Makes you wonder if said houses where built with treated lumber and flame retardant materials . As the houses are burning and trees are not .
