Shuttle Aborts with Giulio Dondi's kOS Programs 2 (KSP 1.12 with RO)

Tyler, 2EO intact aborts (Transatlantic and ATO) are implemented but you need to wait until you see the 'single engine press' messages in the GUI, before that the program goes into 2EO contingency mode and I haven't got around to that yet.
Also, the top 'abort' button is intended to manually triggeraborts, which can also be used to abort without any engine failures

With two engines out, RTLS becomes all but impossible. The shuttle has a twr of less than 1, meaning it drops like a rock. The only aborts are TAL, ATO, and contingency aborts.

losing a second engine during an ongoing 1EO RTLS will result in a contingency except in the last 30 seconds or so, when TWR is enough to achieve reasonable cutoff conditions

To be fair to all your hard work, the shuttle never did automatically land, so I'd say its a general improvement :D It would be cool to look into Buran aborts as that is a complete difference system and I actually for example know very little to nothing about how they would have aborted.

trans atlantic abort with 1 engine if you pulled up enough would be cool. As someone from the the uk would be sick if it landed in one of those contingency sites

Im having trouble using the OPS3 guidance. When i run it under 122km it just shows a blank screen, all the buttons are there but the interface doesnt show up. The shuttle doesnt self guide either.

Remember to set everything to Auto - there's a drop-down thing and the auto brake toggle etc. - and hopefully that will help.
