Man Utd - every manager has the same problem.
    1. Bring their own players in then they get sacked. These players are more favourable for that manager's way of play.
    2. Each manager wants a different style of play.
    3. Assigns average players or players who have been good and are past it. Eg. Casmerio and Varane

The problem isn't having "Good players" The problem is having application on the field. Look at Martin Odegaard for Arsenal. Every game he plays, he is undoubtedly the best technical player on the pitch, yet he runs himself into the ground doing dirty work as well. Are United players better than he? Absolutely not, they need to be humbled and do the dirty work to get their team to the next level. If these players could just dig in all season instead of only against rivals, they would be competing for the title. But it's a mentality, and some people don't have it. We had a RB at LB a CM at CB next to a fifth choice CB. We've had these issues all season and whilst its wrong to blame it solely on injures, it can lead to inconsistency, uncertainly and unrecoverable low confidence. Meanwhile Palace are in form and in a good place, the results aren't going to get any better until we get players back and signings through the door, we have to give ETH one more season, we didn't have these problems last season.

@@wayneperry7413yeah that’s right, that’s why these players need to be sold. Rashford, Antony and sancho all need to be sold. Unfortunately casemiro is well beyond his days and probably needs to go as well. United need at least 3 creative/attack minded players as well as at least 2 class defenders. If Shaw gets fit and in form with the appropriate recruitment/removal of deadwood, then united have a very solid team. Don’t forget the impact that wilcox, berrada, ashworth and ratcliffe will have. Finally, some people who aren’t completely brain dead and actually understand football as well as having competency in dealing with negotiations. Man united will be a top team once again, no doubt about it. And the new, intelligent and well-informed football executives will keep ten hag because they know he’s capable of carrying man united. He’s already proven he can get results. 60 injuries has had a devastating effect on the team. The only major problem with ten hag has been his recruitment, but with some more footballing minds introduced at man united, things will change

How many matches we have seen that the players looked like they were totally lost during the matches? That can only be either of these 2 reasons. 1: The strategies were given to the players but they somehow forgot that totally during the matches or 2: The manager didn't even convey any strategies to the players. "Just go out and enjoy yourself" or etc is not good enough these days.
Don't forget that a lot of these players are national team starting 11 for their own countries and played quite well there but somehow forgot they should be doing the same for their club? This cannot be, once or twice can be coincidence but this is all the time.
Injury plays a big part yes, similarly for out of position placement players but no one can be that bad looking at how these United players are playing, many of them looked totally clueless and lost.
All these lead to only 1 thing and that the manager did not convey the right message to the players.
Steve Mcclaren might be a good care taker manager until end of season. It is no secret that SAF is a fantastic people's person and awesome at motivation but his number 2 played a big part on team strategies. Steve Mcclaren is part of his winning team. Could at least give them some chances of winning something at least if he is in charge.
If ETH continues on like that, Oven and Scholes are right, they will get beaten until the end of season.
