I made it to Siargao! I've heard lots of good things about this island in the Philippines, so I am super excited to explore Siargao over the next days. My first impressions of Siargao are that it's beautiful but also quite touristy. Let's check it out! Hello my friend , I highly recommend to explore this places in Siargao Islands especially Guyam Island, Naked Islands & Daku Island. It has a pure white sand beaches & crystal clear waters. There is a direct daily flight from Cebu going to Siargao Islands. There are lots of attraction to offer in General Luna, Siargao Islands
- Island Hopping in Naked Islands, Guyam & Daku Islands, it is closest islands in Siargao Mainland with white & palm trees.
- Sugba Lagoon Boat Tour with Kawhagan, it's truly a gem of a spots with 5 meters & 10 meters diving.
- Tagbayanga Cave Pool in Siargao Islands.
- Jeepney Land Tour with Magpupungko Rock Pool & Tayangban Caves, seeing the sights of Siargao as you explore caves, tidepools, palm-tree rope swings & palm tree viewpoint.

The 500 php tricycle is a rip off. I think the person who booked you is trying to prevent this.

It is just a 5 minute hike then you reach a resto with a cliff, massage, kawa bath.
It’s overlooking coconut trees and the sea.

Welcome to Siargao which is my favorite island in the Philippines. It has Island vibes but the food is international especially in the General Luna area. There are no hotel chains but there are luxury resorts in the island. I suggest you go there for lunch or dinner. Wi-Fi is ok at those places.

siargao took my breath away when i went in 2019, glad its starting to recover after the typhoon!!
I said many times to you and especially you were so close to Bantayan Island when you traveled to northern Cebu island to go there and see and enjoy even for a day.
I also didn't understand and as well Malapascua was really close. But my Filipina wife and me are going to Bantayan Island in the beginning of next month.

The fellow by the _banca_ told you to inquire about the island hopping tours with the local Tourism Office (not all islands are open or public and are out in the open seas of the Pacific unlike Cebu, for example, so it would be prudent to make plans for it). We believe that with all the solo travels and discoveries you've done thus far, it wouldn't be a bad idea reaching out to the foreigners who've established themselves in Siargao (you may already be familiar with them as they have their own YT channels): The British family Eight Miles from Home, the Swedish couple Emy and Johan, among others :) Keep it fun and safe!
Americans and many westerners like you, siargao is their most favorite island to stay some of them ended living in siargao now the brits,the swedish etc.

I suggest you stay here in the Philippines during Christmas period and New Year. Then celebrate Sinulog Festival with Cebuanos on the 2nd Week of January. Its better to book in advance ( a month before January) because usually hotels are fully book during Sinulog Festival because there will be many tourist coming...

Hi Kent, Dont forget to travel to Cagayan de Oro City, Surely you will explore and enjoy the Highest Amaya peak, White River Rafting, Dahilayan Adventure Park and Seven Seas WaterPark & Resort. If you take Bus, it will be around 9 hour. But if you take plane, it will be around 3.4 hours.

there is a you tube channel called " Eight miles from home" they live on the island. They once stayed in a solar powered resort with great wifi. I am sure if you contact them you will get so much info from them good luck.
