RIP
Alan Ball 💙
and here it is for all to see for all eternity!
Damn, looks like we watched the same video I hate it when this happens
I though when he said alan ball scored for the winner was for Liverpool, it turns out that he scored for Everton 😂
Tommy Lawrence brought me here as well and I’m a United fan. Seeing Tommy in that clip being interviewed as an older man definitely gave me a lump in my throat. Rip Tommy.
Did liverpool win?
Me too. I don’t have a problem giving an opposing player a compliment if they have deserved it, and he did. It doesn’t mean that you’re not a true fan, just because you don’t behave like an arsehole towards your rivals. A bit of friendly piss taking is all part and parcel but out and out hatred is ugly.
@@danieloostra6984 No. They lost 1-0. Tommy says, ‘Alan Ball scored the winner.’
@@oleggorky906 Well said. There are players that get total respect from all fans-even from their bitterest rivals-players like Bobby Charlton and Bobby Moore and Pat Jennings is as revered by Spurs fans as he is by Arsenal's. Modern example Jermaine Defoe for everything he did for Bradly. Never bought into the compulsory hatred myself;it goes too far. Real people died in Munich 1958 and Hillsborough 1989. Cant disrespect any of them or how much it affected their loved ones just to try and be a "true" supporter.

Im here because of Tommy Lawrence, he really seemed like a good guy. Rip legend.
My Dad Harry Smith walks past eating chips, on 43 seconds followed by his best mate Roy and his cousin Paul, my Dad was only 18!!!!

Wow... Beautiful!!!
Where can i find him in this video?
Tell me the timing

...I was waiting for Alan Ball to score the winner because Tommy Lawrence had advised me of the goal some years before! What a lovely gentleman he was.
Rip tommy I’m late to the party but a lover of sports no matter how wired or grand I must say god bless your beautiful soul 🖤
same same same
I miss grandpa, may he rest easy🕊
He was a great player and man.
I absolutely love how people dressed back then. So classy.
Damn Tommy..how could you let that goal in :p RIP bruv
Btw 14 people from both 1967 teams are still alive. They should do a fan meeting
Rest In Peace
Did liverpool win?
@@danieloostra6984 no
Tommy isn’t anymore though
Give it 5 years, the rest of them will be dead too
"I do..i played in it".... priceless, rest in peace Redman ❤ ⚽ 🙌

“I was the goalie for Liverpool”
Thanks Tommy for this gem
Miles away? it's only a few hundred yards between Anfield and Everton!
The script must've been written in London - like just a few years ago when the _Independent_ reported that Liverpool's visit to Bournemouth was a trip to the seaside for them!
@@nemo6686 that's hilarious
Yea, the two parks are literally one small park away from each other..
mom isn't it?
I love seeing the young lads all dressed up going to watch the football.
Ties should be mandatory at football matches.
I was there,Alan ball scored,great atmos!
The joy in the eyes of Tommy Lawrence will make me happy forever. Thank god for football

I was at Anfield that night most of the screens blew over
This was in the days when watching pro football was easily affordable and the footballers were truly professional.
They're still?
How old r u bro. I’m 18 and I couldn’t imagine what this looked like in person. It’s so hard to wrap my head around it.
@@chrislfc2317 It's all commercialised and behind a paywall. Sky makes it a subscription service and ticket prices are stupidly high
@@chrislfc2317 football was pretty much gentrified as a way to escape hooliganism in the 90s
Remember this game well paid £50 a ticket for Goodison.
Alan Ball had not long joined Everton but what a goal he scored.
Liverpool have well recovered and got revenge from that FA Cup tie.
£50 a ticket !? wow, that's really expensive. Thought they would be a tenner
With a name like yours do you really think we think you're over 20 years old? lol
@@beijingbond His CZcams acc is already over 14 yrs. Would assume he's in his 30s.
The gate was £12,000.00.
That's a match day bonus for a lot today.
Must’ve been hard for every team to choose the same colors every season
In memory of Tommy Lawrence❤️
Love Tommy. What A great great guy .RIP Tommy, Terry evertonian
What are the odds that the man you interview on the street was the Goalie, incredible.
As goodison and anfield are only half a mile apart, i wonder if the people in anfield heard the roar from goodison for the goal before it actually appeared on the screen?
Who’s here thanks to tommy Laurence interview
Hi Luke, it’s a great story, one of my best mates scores against Tommy when he played for Derby County, Ricky Marlow. The old boys that played tend to still have a great love for the game, Ricky is ages with me 71, and still plays, he’s fit as a fiddle, and he’s a wonderful bloke. I kept playing until I was 63, I wud still be playing but all the young boys that we played alongside in 5’s & 7 a side aren’t interested anymore. I was a goalkeeper. The Old Days, a Golden Age.
Tommy Lawrence the legend brought me here.. YNWA
2022 where you all at?
Finally I found the expelation why they were asking from Tommy Lawrence about this game.
Alan ball, world cup winner in 66 and possibly evertons greatest ever player
Thanks Tommy Lawrence, what a good memory
The ITV/ABC TV coverage of the game has been WIPED from the ITV archives (except for the glimpses shown in this post). Barry Davies commentated on this match in the highlights shown the following day.

Rip Tommy legend 🙏🕊️
And what a goal that was
It's AMAZING How SMART the fans and supporters looks and DRESSED (suits & Tie) in those days- They look as if they're attending a BUSINESS EVENT rather than a football match!!!
You could see those Smartly dressed people are NOT there looking for a fight- Just to ENJOY and have a GREAT TIME! (How We dress does AFFECT our ATTITUDE & ACTIONS)
So this was the first Fan Fest.
What a legend
If u all are watching this because of tommy
No!...I'm here to watch Bally SMASH IN THE WINNER!..💙
