  • If you are looking to get the Full Potential out of your Cold Air Intake. Don't overlook this Mass Air Flow Sensor! Everything is Electronic in Trucks these days and your Factory Mass Air Flow Sensor is not tuned for Power. In this video we show you How to replace your Factory mass air flow sensor for this Mass Air Flow Sensor from Jet performance. This MAF Sensor allows your Truck's computer to acknowledge you are getting more Air Flow from your Cold Air Intake. This install is on my 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss 5.3L. After installing this Sensor, the biggest thing I noticed was better throttle response from take off. This is a Chevy Silverado Performance Upgrade you don't want to miss out on.

    I installed the stillen ram air, and AFE track force intake on my 2023, all was well for about a month, then bam check engine light yep.. MAF sensor code I said screw it it’s about to have a 2650 on it and be tuned anyway, well about a week ago the truck cut off at a light and would not cut back on after a few attempts, I got out and unplugged the maf and the truck started up and drove fine.. just some info if this ever happens to anyone else and need a way to get home without a tow. Which if you have a refresh Silverado 22+ it will probably happen with an AFE intake

    Hey I just installed mine and my auto stop start doesn’t happen anymore. Is that happening with yours? My lane assist works still it doesn’t make beep sounds now. Have you noticed anything or have any suggestions

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  Před 11 měsíci

      Did you disconnect the battery? My auto stop/start seemed like it stopped for a little while and then started back. I would give it some time. Usually when you install something like this it’s good to drive around for about 50 miles in order for the truck to relearn. I don’t have lane assist but I can’t imagine that doing anything to that.

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Also, if you did unplug the battery, it might have reset the lane assist. The settings should be through the radio. I would check through there and see if it set it to be off. Every time I pull the battery loose, I have to go back in and setup all my changes I make to the truck.

    I got a question regarding the warranty , so it will effects GM warranty ? Because I have a 2022 Yukon Denali and I’m facing issues with P106 code and the mods I have a volant air intake and bora touring cat back so I’m planning to upgrade the mass air sensor if it will not affecting my warranty

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  Před 10 měsíci

      Honestly I can’t say either way. It depends on the dealer. Some will try to void your warranty with any little mod. Some will actually try to be helpful. I know if I ever have any serious issues, I’m slapping all the factory parts back on before I take it in. Lol

      Yes I did. Disconnected the negative and drain battery with the positive and ground. Then I installed it. Turn my truck on and the check engine light was on. So I disconnected battery again to reset it again and same thing. So I just put the old on back in and the check engine light went off.

      What I would recommend doing before you swap it out is try cleaning your current MAF Sensor and then disconnect the battery for about 30 min and see if your gas mileage improves, but I do like this aftermarket MAF sensor in combination with an aftermarket CAI!

      I would say to get the full potential probably, but the computer is suppose to pick up on different mods. I feel a difference with my aftermarket throttle body and MAF sensor because they are electronic which communicates with the computer.
