- A very short DCS film featuring the Mi-24 Hind.
They say that with the butterfly effect, a butterfly flapping its wings can create a tornado several weeks later. I don't believe that. I believe that if you disturb the wrong butterfly it can wreak havoc right there and right then.
---
Track files in DCS World seem to randomly get messed up with the Mi-24 Hind, especially when there are ground maneuvers involved. Therefore I'm only sticking to short 'short films' with the Hind for now.
Thanks for watching again, everyone! This time a short narrative. Not much of a challenge mission wise, but I thought it was a nice scene for a short Mi-24 Hind film to keep you all warm for now :) I'll try to be a bit more creative mission wise next time!
Are you using Bartheks textures and Better trees mod?
@@willmorrell488 THE Joe Swanson? I feel flattered 😉 No, I have no mods installed whatsoever.
Short and sweet. Epic reaction time from the crew, popping them flares faster than I'd get to say "oh sheite...!?!"... :D
Haha! I was on the lookout for that MANPAD. Usually you see a bright flash exactly at the moment when he launches the missile. When you see the smoke trail while flying this low, you're too late.
@@plokkum Very true. I've found out that spotting the smoke trail being too late - the hard way. :D
Outstanding and I love the cinematics!
Thank you Byron!
You do know how to get the sweetest camera angles!
Thanks! Yours aren’t too shabby either! Looking great!
good camera choreography
Thank you!
The kind of video that makes you buy a module... good job
Perfect editing and choice of Framing. Great Job!!
yeah i agree, don´t mess with that kind of butterflys :)
NICE NICE! Short and sweet
👍👍 Just when I though DCS cinematics were getting a bit old. This is new, fresh and really great looking. Loved it.
Thanks Soprite!
Beautiful reaction time! I loved it, makes me want to buy the Savage more and more for GTA! And today I got distracted thinking about “How did they manage to not get spotted until the missile was fired? How does the radar work to detect the missile and not the lock on?” I’m just a kid but I am curious because it’s just so cool!
Thanks Stryker! Although my reaction time was this short because it was highly staged. I knew he was going to shoot me and where he was, so the moment I saw a flash coming from the ground is when I popped the flares :)
I’m not familiar with the Savage, it’s been a long time since I played GTA. That’ll probably change when GTA VI comes out 😉
@@plokkum Yeah I hope they flip the seats around in the Savage for GTA VI, the pilot fires the guns and sits in the front and gunner fires rockets while sitting in the back, it’s kinda stupid
very clever with the first 50 seconds with creating a setting and engaging the audience
even could have used the first 50 seconds as a trailer for something. was like watching something redbull would produce
Nice flying, excellent editing.
Butterfly-1 Any and all opposition-0
Wow, Nice vidéo, ans what da hell, your graphics are so beautiful
It's just a matter of turning up the graphics settings :)
Nice one! :)
I can smell those FPS drops over here
Bullshit! No you can’t. It looks smooth as fuck.
I can hear the cheesy added sound effects, too.
Nice! How do you get this level of graphics? Are you using any terrain mod and the "better trees mod"? Very nice cinematic.
I turned everything up to the highest graphics level before recording. No mods are installed.
Achieving these graphics isn't hard. My 4060 was able to run the highest settings no problem. It's when you go VR where you get the problems.
Are you using reshade? Please send me your profile thanks! Very awesome video!
Thanks! No addons, mods or reshades.
Ok seriously I am seeing more and more epic like vids regarding DCS. How the hell are you guys getting these swooping and panning cinematic shots? Best I can do is plant the camera in a spot and use the mouse to turn the camera angle. But you guys have like Hollywood panning shots
