Very interesting. I agree that the 30's and 40's in particular, were truly a golden era. I certainly got inspired by the movie stars and their elegance considering the fact that they actually moved around and lived in their clothing. They danced, drove automobiles, walked in their clothing. The men dressed in styles suitable for gentleman. I also loved the Ralph Lauren ads that began to appear much later. They depicted scenes that were believable and stylish and in locations that I wish I were in. Thank you for your videos. Style and elegance is great to learn and to enjoy.

I then taught his grandchildren almost 20 years later as a teacher in New York City, so it came full circle as I came to know his daughter quite well too.
