Legend has it The Big Swede is still looking at the parts on the floor reading the instructions
The Swede can't read, if there's not colored pictures he doesn't understand anything. LOL
That makes sense since he can only read in Swedish. 🇸🇪
Still better than anything on TV. Thanks for the entertainment Chet.
💯 correct statement 👍👍👍✌️
I'm glad you said that, I've thought the same for some time. I watch more U-tube content than anything on TV.
Welcome Back Chet, glad you and Jean had a good honeymoon, the fellas held down the fort while you were gone
Beautiful to see his Chet's knowledge of equipment, other great American family, and another generation coming along.
The smile on Dougo's face says it all...
Preping for planting season always takes time, but it's well worth the effort. Good to see just how thorough you are.
I think the planter test in the yard is genius! Thanks for showing and explaining the testing process with us.
Awesome video Chet. Glad to see everyone back and working. 🚜🚜🚜
Photographic memory! The best kind.
It will be nice to see from work in the fields after a long winter being in the shop
Keep doing what your doing
All this new stuff makes an old guy feel stupid.
Getting a little closer everyday.
Stay safe and warm guys !!!
Oh yeah baby, Houston, 4K has arrived! 👍I don't care if it's because of my suggestion several videos back, or something you already had in the works. Planting, spraying, and harvest along with every other video the rest of the year is going to be epic and glorious in this 4K res!! I cannot wait.
The complexities of those planters just boggle my mind! Amazing equipment/technology these days.
Who's the rockstar now? Why, Chet is of course.😉
Take care guy's.
Pierre 🇨🇦
Not quiet, he 'constipating'!!!!! Keep up the great times
I'm sure Chets ready to go back to farming. Only watch so much wedding and honeymoon photos and video sure would like to see Chris for a shout out makes it fun.
Dougo proved what I've always thought. "he didn't inhale" sensible boy/man. Good to see Chet is right back on the to do list. He even remembers where he was last time he was here. That's more than I can say about yesterday! Oh it's good to have everything looking planned rather than reactive. Here's for a good spring/summer/fall and a proper winter. Thanks for everything you guys do, it doesn't go unnoticed, and it's always appreciated!!!
Chet, you should have called everyone together and told them all you wanted a group hug because you missed them so much. The look on their faces would be priceless.😂😂😂😂
Chet, you do an incredible job in your explanations & your management skills! Thanks for another informative video. Let's hope for safe planting & rain this year.
Great video's Chet
all ways great to see you guys on the ball once of prevention as they say be safe god bless
Nice to see young guys taking pride in their work! Keeping equipment clean and maintained! God bless 🙏🏻
Damn Chet, you really are on top of things
Great video now that tanks are painted you need to do a big Larson logo on it to finish them off
II ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHET😊
I just ordered a Big Swede cap and I'm so looking forward to putting that puppy on.
Love watching your videos, you guys are great at what you do. I'm a big John Deere fan so this channel is certainly for me. You guys show how dreams can be made and this is my biggest one.
I would love to see the tractors back in actions, keep making more updates I'll be excited to see them.
Ole Broady is a real go get er.
when we went on float trips, some people got sunburned so bad they couldn't go to work all week, the next time we went floating wee had SPF 100 and called it white out.
And Thursday thru Friday….here comes the snow again
Great video! May God bless you all and keep you safe and may you have the most prosperous year ever!
Thin mint get me every time
I would recommend you get that seat update if it's available. We've been fighting those in the swathers for two years.
It will shut your machine down going through the field and do it over and over, sometimes 10 times in 5 minutes.
Can't wait for the planting videos
Nice 🇱🇷 job, guys
tabks look really nice
“Did you miss me?” Dougo thinks “Toby did.” Lol
Welcome back home and Congradulations our in order you got married wonderful. Dougo and Chris and Brody and Jorden all miss you and we all miss you .
Glad to see you have three planter’s this year have more ground to cover.
Great video Chet. You guys explain and do everything so well. 👍❤️
Thanks for another great video Chet.
It was interesting and informative and enjoyable.
Looks like Dougo is getting the tire changer hooked up and ready to use. Handy piece of equipment to have.
The precision planters you have now need a lot of adjustments and testing to make them field ready. Looks by you and Brody testing it is ready to go. Never seen one of these operating. Neat piece of equipment.
Welcome back from the honeymoon Chet. Trust you and Jean had a great trip.
Getting everything ready for spring field work. Busy time in the shop. Spring field work be here before you know it.
Thanks for explaining how the precision planters works Chet. Sure has a lot of technology built into it. Very interesting. Thanks.
Got to do the big saddle tanks on the tractor now. For the planter. Think Eric is working that project. Always something to do. Yeah.
Thanks for everything Chet and crew. You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
😂
Safety First !!
awesome video guys. thank y'all
The More Gadgets You Have, The More Work, And The More Trouble, & Expense You Have 😮
Great video as usual. Thank you.
The boys were hoping for an early spring... monster snow storm this weekend going to push that back
Great video
If we get the 25 cm about 8 inches of snow put my snowblower back on the 2038r might have to help some neighbors out moving snow. Cheers from central Alberta
“I didn’t inhale” 😂😂😂
--------------------------- nice visit
Chet... Dougo will run hard anyway... and if you get an dry summer again..
the early planted corn will bring the better bushels since the plants will make use of the early moisture
and have enough roots..
Sleep is a luxury item while planting and harvest times... how many luxyery u can afford.
Cant wait to see who´s running the 3 planter with the 410 Demo tractor
good vid.
Honey moon in a hot place comes back white as a ghost hmmmm wonder what he was up too lol 😂
Hey some of us northerners don't tan. I spend every day out in the sun and don't get any darker than that
They sure were they deff the no fun till married . Probably why got married so fast .. with other reason also I'm sure.
@@coreyrobinson6284I'm quite sure that you are mistaken. Chet lived with Jean for sometime before getting engaged and they waited quite a while before they got married. The honeymoon was their second trip to Mexico.
And... those first few years of marriage are the best... she still likes you and it seems like you have the most segs. My old boss told me take a 5 gallon water jug and put a penny in it every time you make love. Then after that first year was over, take a penny out... and it will take the rest of your life to empty the jug. 20 years later its still not empty...
Sowing his seed lol
The glasses look good Duggo !!
Love it
Thanks
Welcome Larson Farms❤🧡💛💚💙💜💯
😂
@@B-tenst04 Thanks
Magnifique semoirs et bien équipés et bien intéressante 😮😅😊
Hey boys tapered roller bearing hubs should not be full of grease, grease gets hot expands and blows out the seals. Look it up
Looks like snow for you soon.
So is Jordan going to run a planter this spring?
Can we see more of Eric!
Won’t be long before the farmers are planting here in Indiana I seen a couple farmers getting equipment ready thanks for sharing
Also if ya know ya know Dougos the star of the show
Not so fast on starting planting winter is coming back this weekend
I have put grease fittings in the cap to grease on a regular schedule
Hurts my back to watch you work. Please get a cart. Please 😮
Why does it look like the lug nuts are on backwards? Love the videos and wish I could work for you all!
Great laugh episode with the LEO comment and I never inhaled 🤣. Quick question here dealing with the openers. If they had engraved tick marks which would indicate say 3 stages of wear towards the outer 2 inches, would that not help in gaging whether or not they need replaced? While going through making correct opening adjustment all one would need to do is look at the tick mark wear for if the disk is too worn.
Love the videos and congrats Chet. But you can have to much grease in your bearings. Too much grease holds heat and will cause your bearings to fail prematurely. Your typical cone bearing only needs a 20% fill. High precision bearings are only 5%. Just some thou6for when you put 800 pumps into one bearing..
Good stuff guys
Amazed no harness above 6’.
Dockendorpf would have the gauges you want!
hi chet from alberta canada try air tool oil in air system on planter every thing gets dried out and sticks
Hey chet. Any chance greasebuddy makes caps you can buy to grease from the outside? Might be the same as a trailer hub? Just a thought. Id be looking for them to install on all your wheels on planters.
Isn't there a page with all the parts listed by amount, ID numbers, and sizes? Then you could cross reference them to make sure you got the right ones.
Also the nut that holds it on should be seated down tight then back it off and secure just a little more than hand tight, better a little loose than too tight. Look it up
We all got that issue with the middle sensor on the seat for auto track.
Beautiful
*** Chet *** your going to need more silos to get all of that stored
I found out , even if I'm buying, Never gripe about too much grease. The other way is what gets ya.
👍🏽
Did you guys run autopath on the narrow row planter too? How’d that work out with the sprayers?
👍
get piece pipe fits to lip of dust cap to pound on so it stats straight
FYI i just ordered my 1st pair of Brunt Boots
Oh come on how many people don't get a choice to live one handed and we still get projects done
Do you index the planting units for depth?
😎
Are the lug nuts backwards on the planter
DB wheel seals used to be cheap junk, only single lip with no spring tension
Sometimes, over greasing can be just as bad as under greasing. Over greasing can attract dirty and be just like sandpaper.
When grease heats up it will expand. So a fully filled up space with grease will start to pressure up. ,,to an extent,, says it.
👍👍❤
Could an inferred temp. gun be useful in checking the content level in the tanks?
I seen that the lug nuts have the tapered side out? Is that a John Deere thing to do? In the automotive world including semi’s etc… all have the tapered edge towards the rim that mates to the tapered side of the rims. I’ve seen older stuff that had a flat type rim and you would have to have the tapered edge out but it was with left hand thread style?
Cant remember Is Jordan one of Iowa boys
If you put the oil seal backwards it lets grease out and stops dirt going in
Chet you said you haven’t had the bean planter wheel bearing fail you had a video about 3 or 4 years ago digging to china to get the wheel bearing back onto that rig
I think he said the have had them fail, despite checking them.
Coming home to see a new larson video posted is about the same as a winning lottery ticket!😊
🤡
I would not put any faith in you picking a girlfriend for me. But, faith in running a shop full of tractors, and parts. You would be the guy.. Great job Chet. You know your machines. 👍
What brand of tire machine was your father hooking up ? And where did u buy it ?
