Homemade Hidden Motorized TV Lift

I did the monitor lift too except I wanted to use old tech so I used a trebuchet instead. It came up really quick but I still haven't fixed the hole in the ceiling (but the roof is repaired) and I just found out my monitor in the neighbors pool 2 blocks away...

Dude can I pick your brain on something? I wanna build something for my kids room to store his Nerf guns but I don’t have any friends that are smart enough to answer the questions I have and I can’t seem to find any help on google either
