John Lennon died December 8th 1980. Man City didn't play until December 13th 1980 when they drew two each with Stoke in Maine Road. Lou Macari and Joe Jordan scored City's goals.

Noel was parker from Thunderbirds and definitely maybe he shouldn't look back and say I drove all the way. He found a guitar behind the door and had a morning glory idea. after he became a star. Look its parker with his guitar. be here now parker has lost his car. Stand by me it's in the swimming pool with parker playing guitar. Thunderbirds are go but parker has written be here now let's go.

Without the bluster and bullshit (he couldn't do that on a serious music show like this ) he is clearly quite a nice, down to Earth guy.

Lennon was shot just before midnight in New York...no way would a newsflash interrupt a Man City game, unless they were playing at like 4am 👍
