It's a made up story. Typical noel gallagher fairytale. Liam was outta control. I had to save the day ... oh and by the way I wrote all the songs blah blah. But NG didnt write all the songs. He only wrote 5 of the 11 songs on Dont Believe the Truth but if people wanna believe he wrote em all. Up to them. Sky is green as well

Just been reading the comments. My dad's favourite Radio DJ ever is John Peel because "he didn't talk over the end or beginning of the songs so people could tape them". I'll just leave that there, make of it what you will.

10 years of high flying birds is proper scary. Seems like only yesterday that oasis broke up.
I don't understand what kind of really horrible thing Liam must have done that Noel just lets life go by without making up with his brother. I have a brother and we had our ups and downs. BIG downs as well. But when you realize you don't live for ever you somehow realize you can't stay angry for ever. Just as them we had some very big ups as well and that are the times I miss. The things I want to remember. No one's perfect.
Have you ever hear a thing liam has said about him? Out of the blue having a go? Showing he hasn't matured even a little bit.... i think if liam had just shut his mouth for the past decade noel mightve thought he had changed but no, every once in a while liam launches his attacks.... why would he want to reunite with someone noel clearly finds toxic, stressful and burdensome? The simple fact is he is happier without liam than he was with him which frankly says alot.

@@jj522 song was stopped cos barrier at front was cracked. But Noel's story about row with Liam is untrue. Just usual fake noel narrative about crazy unreasonable liam and noel writing all the songs which he seems to remind us in every interview.

Noel is either lying or mixing memories here. The first song of the gig (which, by the way, took place in 2005, not 2009) was Turn up the sun. In fact, it was Liam the one who told the band to stop after the barrier cracked. You can look it up here in CZcams.

I love Noel but anyone who’s seen that gig at the Etihad knows that story is a lie. Liam stops the gig and there’s no argument. Have a day off Noely.

I was at that gig and remember very little.
I was at that gig and cant remember an argument per se but what I can remember is that the whole thing lasted for about 30 min. In the video its only a minute or two. So there very well might've been an argument that isn't shown in the video simply due to time constraints.
That being said we all know Noel like to spice up stories like this to make them more entertaining so I could very well be a case of that too.
Biggest crime ever was taking Johnny Vaughan off TV. He was class on the big breakfast after Chris Evans.

You or I, or anybody, haven’t got a single F*cking clue what the ins and outs of his family matters are. Our sole source and account on Noel is that of Liam’s, hardly impartial stuff. If anything, Liam comes across quite devious. One minute he’s giving the impression that he’s all love, wants to make up and is the righteous one, the next he’s slating Noel on twitter, slating his music, and trying to smear Noel’s wife to fans as some yoko Ono figure who is the reason oasis isn’t reforming, which has caused a lot of personal insults being directed toward Noel’s wife on social media. Why would Noel want to ‘play ball’ with that?

@Ian maybe Noel will try to sell out Knebworth for a 7 nighter for the Oasis. The thing is Liam's voice wouldn't last long for a reunion tour. Oasis songs are to hard for him to sing day in, day out on a big massive tour. His singing is more structured these days for his solo projects.
