- Hey everyone!!! Here is a tutorial on how I made a mini album using 12x12, double sided, designer paper, folded in to a pocket page. I hope you enjoy :-)
Here is the link to see my video explaining the mini album cover: • Shabby Chic Mini ~ Pro...
Thanks Leanne! At 1am I was sitting in my room with a small light on making an 8x8 size - so glad you shared this.
I just learned a new folding technique thanks to you. I'm working on a small smash book for my 7 year old grandson and this folded pocket will be so fun to put journaling tags into.
Excellent tutorial. I use my scoreboard often. I used a permanent (Sharpie) marker to draw five vertical lines from the top to the bottom of the board. The lines are at the 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10-inch marks. It has made the board easier to use, especially when scoring angles. Note: after you draw the lines, use a baby wipe or damp paper towel to wipe off any excess ink. I've never had a problem with the inked lines marking my project.
I love how it saves the 12x12 paper. No cutting needed :)
You do a fantastic job showing it step by step. I am very impressed! Thanks.
I love this pocket page you created soooo much!!! I just made 5 and can't wait to build a mini. Thanks so much for this wonderful tutorial! Hugs, Ann
this is one of the best vids I've seen for making these folded pages...thanks so much!!
Thanks so much for tutorial. Was trying to get motivated to start a mini-album and you just gave me the inspiration. TFS, Gwen
your video is wonderful! You simply break the steps down and make it look easy for me to try. thanks for taking the time and sharing with us all. YOU HAVE INSPIRED ME yo make one today.
Diagonal pockets are so classy. Double sided paper is so much fun. Nice both sides show as I hate to cover the B side up. Put the video in my faves so I can refer back later.
I absolutely loved this tutorial... so simple and easy... Congrats!!!!
Great idea, what a wonderful way to use double sided papers! thank you so much for sharing, I can't wait to include some in my next book!

Best tutorial I have ever watch! Thank you! You are is patient and calm.
Such a good tutorial, you take your time and explain so clearly.
However........you didn't say how addicting these are!! I'm using up all my double sided like there's no tomorrow! (and lovin' every minute of it!) My SU double sided is working nicely as it's a little heavier than what you would buy at Joann's or Michaels.
love this album........so simple but looks much more complicated, thanks so much for sharing

Did you have a second video where you put it together and embellished it? I would have loved to see it through. I love th pocketidea tho. Thanks
ok....your instructions are great...but why did you score it at 41/2 on the one side and not on the other side and what was the reason to do it the once? Just started to make them and am as a loss as to why...thx pat
