Toto video se mi líbí, velmi zajímavé video .Děkuji za vaši práci .❤
Moc vám děkuji!
This video is so helpful. It really clarifies what was for me a mysterious aspect of Czech grammar. Thank you! 😊
Thank you! I'm happy it helped.
Thank you, Zuzka, I've been hoping for a while that you would deal with this particular topic.
Yes, it was on my list, I was just gathering more information.
It's important to note that if you leave out "to" before the noun clause, also leave out the preposition; you can't say "pamatuju si na, co.."
Yes, that's a good point.
@@CzechbyZuzka It's probably obvious, but that's how my brain works😉
@HabAnagarek Not obvious if you're not Czech, so yes, it's an important thing to point that out.
@@CzechbyZuzka mimochodem, I just discovered your channel, I love it.
If I were to say "I called that big strong Polish guy" could I use the demonstrative pronoun "mu," followed by "velky silny Polsky muz"? Or do I need to use the dative case for the for the whole description of the man?
You need to use the dative for the whole phrase that describes the man because it is all part of the indefinite object (in the dative case):
Zavolal jsem *tomu silnému Polákovi.*
You would use 'mu' only if you need to say 'I called HIM': Zavolal jsem *mu.*
dobrý den, můžu se zeptat, jaký je rozdíl mezi "takova" a "takovahle"
_Taková/takováhle_ both mean "such a..., like this/that + feminine noun" but the difference is in the distance between the speaker and the object/person they are referring to.
_Takováhle_ is used when we refer to something right next to us (or in our hand):
Takováhle krabička by se mi moc líbila. - I would really like a box like this one /such as this.
_Taková_ is a reference to something/someone further (in place or time) or referring to something similar ("like that"):
Byla to taková ostuda! - It was such an embarrassment!
A kolik stojí taková krabička? - And how much is a box like that?
I hope this helped!
