Let's not forget that Chins coming in from Myanmar are also Zos. Chins call themselves Zomis. Chin is what the Burmese call them.
Kukis are also Zos. They are the Zos who did coolie work for the British and from the word coolie came the name Kuki.
So in effect they are all one and the same.
Zoramthanga is playing a big role in fueling the conflict. Illegal Chin immigrants get their fake Aadhar Cards in Mizoram and move into Manipur.

All started from chin state war with the military junta, huge number of chin people (on record) have entered mizoram (mizoram welcoming their ethnic brother) and the state is bearing the expenses. As the war progresses more people (including chin revolutionaries) want shelter in mizoram. As mizoram is saturating, part of the chin people now want to be shifted to manipur-mizoram border which is inhibited the same chin ethnic people (kuki) and the mizoram has great influence in such areas. Not only the people, but the culture of poppy cultivation also which is a huge resource for the ongoing chin state war in myanmar and the future of chin originated people. The difference is govt of mizoram supports the influx but the govt of manipur does not. When the govt opposes the influx and the poppy cultivation, the problem started. In order to not intervened by the govt of manipur, kuki started plan for separate administration where they could help the immigrants in all aspects. And the immigrants need to stay as long as the war goes on there, which could be only for few years or hundreds, in which mizoram is suffering on the other side and things can be learnt from them.
The Kukis should be put in their place as they are the aggressors. Affirmative policies should be applied equally and not just for the Kukis

You see the Buddhists from Myanmar r not coming in to settle in Manipur but why r the Christian tribes coming in. That's the big question. If the kukis are hogging all the jobs etc ...then making the selections of majority of the jobs into a merit based system and reducing the percentage of reservation for ST- kukis might me a solution. Both sides have to be balanced. But taking away or reducing a portion of the benefits is not going to be easy. The private sector jobs are based on merit and qualifications unlike the govt jobs and benefits. Wish there were a robust private sector creating more such jobs. I agree that religion might not be a big issue here....but the overall situation is a very unfortunate development. Govt should form a commission involving eminent persons of both communities and find a solution for this vexing issue once amd for all.

The root cause of the Manipur issue is a pre-planned from last thirty years. I am sharing my view on ground of our National favour. It needs to know every people of India. Step by step actions were taken up in last thirty years to achieve their Gold. There steps will be told later, I am telling in short as .....
After case study of last 30 years of clashes between different communities, geographical, demographical and geopolitical analysis of Kuki Chin community, the demand of separate state is only first step to forming a Kuki Country with the support Western Christan Countries. This is security threat to India and depressing Indian Economy to be a World Supper Power country as all World knows that India is on the trench to become a Super Power Country in the World. Think about, why is the other state Mizoram and kuki community from Myanmar involving in present violence, because they have to win first step by any means/anyhow. After that next turning point, Lead by this Kukiland in India then the Kuki communities in India, Myanmar and Bangladesh will come together to form a Kuki Country. Think about what will be happened in India if Kukiland formed. They will try to get a funding of big amount to establish a country by means of drug production and narco terrorism. As a citizen of India, we have to pay attention early before happening such kind of act in future that this is not a civil war to meitei community only and we have know that it is a emotional war against India's prosperity/Indian Economy/Government of India/all jb public of India. To defend from them is not only the responsibility of meitei community but all also all citizens of India for our India's bright future.

After that video went viral a few days ago (one needs to question the timing of it going viral, because things were slowly returning to normal by then), most other channels started portraying the Kukis to be the victims and the Meitis to be the perpetrators but no one is addressing the point about who started the violence? Clearly it was the Kukis who attacked the Meitis 1st, burnt down their whole villages etc and then when Meitis retaliated to protect themselves, Kukis started playing the victim card.
Kukis carried out horrid atrocities on the Meitis and there are videos of these which are being prevented from being circulated so the whole world is only getting one side of the story. This is so typical of crimes in India where the perpetrators from the minority communities are protected by always playing the victim card. And the international media are having a field day by alleging that Christians are not safe in India. Why doesn't someone put the truth out to shut up the mouths of all the internal and external enemies of India!

I have heard on another channel from a Meiti guest, that Meitis are very angry because they have always been dealt a bad hand compared to the Nagas & the Kukis 1st by the British and then by all the Indian Governments, none of whom have even attempted to right the wrongs of the past so typically the Meitis keep suffering. Does this not sound familiar to how Hindus have always been treated in India as 8th class citizens.
They have plenty of Christian countries and muslims in India always support them. They unitedly defeated BJP in Karnataka also. We Hindus are orphans with no country to support and not enough we have full of Jaychands making our position helpless as they get the chance to say see your own people saying so.

However, the possible complicity of the head of the state, which seems quite evident and the 'Mind bogling' silence of the prime minister to the extent if suggesting 'complicity' fir pilitical gains (??) still remains a big question!!!. How come center did not intetvene with the use of central forces when the state was liteterally burning, which they are doing now, after three months? It is just difficult to undetstand.

Before May 3rd, Manipur Govt. had been cutting down poppy plantations in hills and it was mostly in chin kuki mizo residing areas. Plus started the work of identifying illegal immigrants in Manipur. There are full evidence and documents on these with the government as well as available in media. This is the main cause of this orchestrated or engineered conflict.
All these problems boil down to one principal fact - we have failed to effectively guard our borders.
Rightly pointed out the demographic changes in the valley region will spurt discontent amongst locals but the developments should not stop. But the mistakes & policies of previous govts is also a contributing factor

Unfortunately international community doesn't want to see Indian subcontinent peaceful and economically developed. Probably India is the only country in an unenviable position having to fight forces from across the globe. India can handle local/regional challenges with ease. What do we do when those powers that keep lecturing about peace, democracy, freedom, etc themselves are guilty of fomenting unrest all around?

SC CJI was extremely saddened by the video from Manipur. This same CJI will stop any harsh steps centre takes. They will stay any displacement of illegal occupants on forest lands.
SC stayed the removal of illegal Rohingyas. That is what SC is famous for. They meddle in affairs suo moto that have nothing to do with them. Government will need to bring in legislation controlling the SC judges to remain within their remit. SC judges are not elected whereas Government's are and they must be allowed to deal with executive matters. Judiciary has no business poking their noses in everything.
One should question the SC why they never take suo moto action against the W Bengal government where women are disrobed in public and attacked by TMC goons. There have been over 50 deaths around the Panchayat elections and over 150 after the last state elections. How is W Bengal different to Manipur? Also why no action by SC with regards to attacks and murders of Hindus in Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Bihar?
