  • Hey everyone! In this video, I upgrade my suspension from the ICON stage 2 to the stage 7 kit. The reason for upgrading was mainly because the stage 2 had to be taken out to get serviced and I wanted to have more adjustability to the my ride both on road and off road.
The stage 7 comes with 2.5 remote reservoirs with CDC valves that restricts oil flow into the reservoir creating 10 levels of compression damping force ranges. It also includes higher performing panhandle/track bar, upper and lower arm links, upper control arms with Delta Joint and 2" Springs (I have 3" Springs). Once the stage 7 needs to be taken off for service, I can use the stage 2 kit (coil overs and rear shocks) as spares.

Great video - thanks for posting. My stage 7 kit is on the way. I'm looking for some reference vids (or even blogs) on what all is required to complete the install, with regards to tools and supplies (like grease, tie wraps, clamps, misc parts, etc). Did you just have all the tools and knowledge from prior experience or did you reference another resource to know what you needed? Three days man... thank you for setting realistic expectations. Again - thanks for posting!

I liked your video. I recently installed my Icon rear springs and my reservoir shock last weekend on my FJ Cruiser. The install went smoothly and wanted to ask you a couple of questions. Why did you choose the Billet arms over tubular? Cost? As far as installation goes, did you have someone check align the rear. I know you can adjust them, but it doesn't tell you on the instructions how to adjust according to lift per inch of lift. Any insight? I'm going to order the rear upper, lower links and the track bar.Again, great take on your install.

So, with the adjustable trackbar, could you remove the old trackbar relocation point and adjust the new trackbar to fit the new setup?
