Been a fan of Yair's since the start of his journey. To me he is my favourite fighter in UFC. Love his diverse and unique style of fighting. I knew this documentary was made long back and was dying to watch. Glad they posted it to youtube now after he became the champion.
The scene before his last fight when his mother came and hugged him is something we don't see in sports nowadays. That was one of the rarest and beautiful moment we witnessed in UFC history and the win at last just made everything perfect. I like how he carries himself on and off the ring. A real savage when he steps into the ring and turns to a complete humble person who's is very much close to his family and his roots. Hope he goes on and become the undisputed champion in future. NOTHING BUT RESPECT. Lets go EL Pantera!!

For a long time I’ve looked for long interviews or anything about Yair. I weighted a lot and one day my buddy booted up the game. Picked him and it motivated me to get healthy. Lost 80lb.

Wow! Yair I was so surprised + very pleased to see a documentary made by my very own young featherweight UFC fighter Yair "El Pentera" Rodriquez. Fighting out of Chicago, ILLinois out of Chicacua, Mexico.
He's tall, dark, + strong and has a fresh new style based on kicks + fists landed through the air!
His best big fight, a real test, is against the"GREAT ALEXANDER VOLKANOVSKI", from the "land down under, Australia + who sits at the #1 position of the FEATHERWEIGHT LEAGUE.

So this was a very straightforward film about how one boy from Mexico worked hard to become the now interim flyweight UFC champion.
The next documentary, + it is essential that it be made, would follow him through his fight with Holloway, or Volkanofski.
It would be about what it's like after the fight ends + the days of recovery. How does a body recover so perfectly to fight again.
I hope the footage for the new film I speak of is being recorded + I will get to watch Yair in another GREAT SPORT DOCUMENTARY!!!!!
