He tore through the division so quietly and earned the belt the hard way! My favorite fighter of all time. Guy literally gets better each fight. The only guy I’ve seen Khabib say was right there in the GOAT discussion. Hope he can get past Volk in their next fight.

I think ortega and kattar are the 3rd and 4th best and ortega in particular man for a guy as lethal as he already is, and I personally think behind only volk and max, if that guy worked on his takedowns, and his striking defense more, he could be potentially be a serioussss threat to max and volk. I mean he had volk dead to rights, twice and honestly no human that isn’t a terminator other the volk could stay conscious for almost 18 full seconds while Brian’s ortega has you fully in a mounted guillotine.
Alex beat him twice easily, and as good as max was he’s not in the goat discussion lol, I can name several fighters above him that had done better, that’s not taking anything away from him he was very good but he’s also had some losses where other guys havent

I just started really following UFC. I see alot of comments about the fights how good or bad that some fighters the people that are making the comments. Have any them every been in a fight I had a few fights and I know that I could never touch any of the fights . Them would kick the shit out of me . So if you never been in a fight or knocked out I think you should just watch and appreciate the great fighters and fights that we get to see in the UFC.
The way joe Rogan explained it in Holloway vs Aldo was perfect. Max lured him into a slug fest and max came out unscathed… I feel like that’s 99% of maxs fights. The fact he dosent have ko power drags you into these boxing matches that these other guys skills and cardio just can’t keep up with and they don’t realize it until their banged up and tired as hell while realizing they’ve made a HUGE mistake. Only guy who hasn’t been tricked is Alex the Great. He constantly stuck to the game plan even after getting tempted for a round or two into those fire fights that max loves so much.
Max Holloway's energy and spirit is inspiring, the dude is blessed.

According to the unified scoring system all you gotta do to win a champ fight is win 3 rounds or more.
What happened is they followed the scoring system like ur meant to. The champion shouldn’t get special treatment just for being the champion🤷🏻♂️
