Honestly that was fucked. He really downplayed Antoine's decade long addiction struggle. "I was only on oxy for 3 weeks so I'm the same as you Antoine" then the whole "I don't understand how you can just not be an addict" as if addicts want to be substance dependent. That's the whole definition of being addict, it's not because they want to.

The pee analogy is the best explanation I have heard to explain how addiction feels to an addict, which I am. Clean since 2016 but I will always avoid opiates because you never know.

It's even more powerful then that, addicts brain views drugs as a basic need to survive, like u do food/ water, in fact many would even choose there drug of choice over food/water/ housing, it's that powerful, that's why ppl genuinely want to stop but they can't

I loved this. Im an addict. 6 years clean but everything under the son. Now im a coach and a very happy father! One day i will make my dreams become reality lets just say that... Love you guys! Lets go Nick get this Olympia!
Me and justin shared a special moment at the Olympia, I also lost my mother to cancer and it’s probably the hardest thing ive been through in my life. It’s awesome to hear these story’s know i’m not alone. Love you guys.

I hope one day when I’m at Pure I’ll get to meet you and shake your hand. Wasn’t addicted to drugs, but suffered severely with an eating disorder. Hardest thing ever to overcome, relapsed many times. Bodybuilding is what saved me.

My path was jails, institutions, or death. & I did 2 of those of those, and there was only 1 option left. Today, through discipline and finding love for the gym and self improvement. I am proud of myself.

I was at 5 years clean then lost my dad and 5 month old niece in the same year...and relapsed and I finally got my self back in being sober 7 months clean and going strong...
I no many will say oh that's an excuse..but they never been in a addicts shoes..

You can say kratom isn't a drug all you want ,I know for a fact it's a bitch to get off. It doesn't bind to the opioid receptor but has an infinity for it. When your trying to sleep and feels like bugs crawling in your skin ya convince me other wise

The analogy for having to take a piss and it being the only thing in the front of your mind until you do it is perfect for addiction. It’s the only way you could explain it to the uninformed person. It’s crazy to me they didn’t get it but as an addict it’s exactly what it’s like.
From what I heard it’s decently common, I have a cyst on my nuts, I noticed it around 18-20 years old, I got it checked out and an ultrasound. and then I had a buddy who had a lump on his nuts and it turned out to be cancer and had to get cut open. Moral of the story, get your shit checked even if it freaks you out. Genetics are a crazy thing.

I understand what guy was trying to say about being closer to death as you age HOWEVER, that was an easy one to argue against. You could be on the brink of death at age 35 extremely unhealthy etc etc. And technically speaking with massive changed you could be getting dramatically healthier and extending your life expectancy as the days go by.
