First is a 2022 Submariner Date 1126610LN and alongside it is a 2023 GMT Batman. The precious metal pieces have cooled down in the market so now might be a good time to scoop one up if they’ve been on your radar for some time.
A gent with a two-tone champagne dial Sky-Dweller is looking for an offer from our buyer Jon. He already has an initial offer but is looking for an improvement on the cash price as he’s due to get married in the near future. The Sky-Dweller model in steel and yellow gold currently trades under the list price in the pre-owned market.
Stuart discusses a number of heavy hitting precious metal Rolex options for a gentleman looking to add an occasion piece to his collection. The primary watch of concern is the Rose Gold Day-Date 40 with the anniversary olive green dial. This is without a doubt the most frequently requested everose DD40 model in the market over the last few years. Plus £25k still a bad deal as the Patel is worth £60k so he. Undersold by £10k
I've known 2 people that traded their Patek for a Rolex or two. The main reason is they decided they don't want too much money tied up in a single watch. Other reasons could be because Patek movements while beautifully finished, they're generally not as robust as Rolex movements. Also in my friend's case, despite owning a watch that cost 60-70k, he can't fathom or are unwilling to pay the servicing cost of Patek which could go in the thousands.
@@lettuce1305selling is fine, that’s not the point. The point is, why sell with such a massive loss? It’s just stupid in every way. He couldve put it on chrono for 60/70 and sold it the same day.
With that money, he couldve bought two gmts and still have 30k left

That last customer that made him bring out all the gold day-dates and Daytonas to try them on and in the end want to try the only one they didn't have in stock as an excuse to cop out, is the worst type of customer.
