Eddie Howe essentially put out a lineup that said: we have to forfit the carabao cup, we have the toughest group in the CL, we're trying to solidify our position in the league, go ahead and have this cup tie. Ten hag and Man United got carved up by Newcastle C team! A team that had 9 changes, and featured 8 players from the steve bruce era(when they were in a relegation scrap)
