„He is so incompetent he managed to make all 10 F1 teams agree with each other“ killed me
I love listening to a funny British man screaming into a microphone about a sport on the internet.
honestly a British man screaming about it it is the best part about almost any sport
F1 is not a sport that occurs on the internet.

I'm glad that we are useful for some things.
The thing that baffled me about this was it was hardly an unknown potential conflict of interest and will have been declared to all parties at the time? It's hardly an "oh no we just realised who she was married to........"
Yeah, timing of this makes it more sus.
Exactly. And it's not like she's some new girlfriend of Toto's. They've been married many years and have a son old enough to kart himself.
Exactly. Tbh if the FIA was a serious organization who cares about ethics, they wouldn’t have promoted the wife of a billionaire who owns 1/3 of one of their 10 teams and acts as CEO and Team Principal. That’s an obvious conflict of interest that even the FTC antitrust division could spot from a million miles away.
But we all know the FIA is a corrupt organization even in the best of days, so why didn’t anyone complain about this when it happened?
I think Toto’s wife position was definitely done as a favor/quid pro quo exchange to Toto. But her position doesn’t seem to be a very influential one, not even intel-wise (although I could be wrong).
@@Lucaz99 Susie doesn’t work for the FIA, she works for FOM, the commercial rights holder of F1. FIA sets the rules, FOM does the marketing. She wasn’t appointed in some weird scheme, she got the role after proving her abilities as a team principal in Formula E, directly competing against Mercedes.
To call her integrity or ability into question because of the motorsport equivalent of the daily mail is bullshit, to put it mildly
straight facts @@ciaratastrophe
on a side note, this entire sport is a conflict of interest. You have drivers changing teams almost every season, mechanics and team principals also. Practically everyone that works there are good friends and take planes/go to dinners together and shit.
Yea lol would be pretty easy to mention something conflict of interest even if not that important
The conflict of interest happens when you sign for the next team I'm sure drivers get cut out of developments. Team principals and mechanics have gardening leave. It's a common thing in industry especially if it is quite niche
@@MrPsychomonkeystill though, these guys spend more time with each other than they do with their families. There's no way absolutely no information gets shared between them, even by accident.
It has to be said that making a 5 min video 5 min is greatly appreciated! Hope you, unlike most CZcamsrs, continue to make videos even though they are not 10+min or pull the wool into it. Respect and thank you.
The thing that confused me about all this, is what secret info would Susie actually be aware of that Toto wouldn’t already know. She’s not in charge of technical rules or anywhere near all that, she runs a down the card race series, so Toto might get the lowdown on the best up and coming female drivers but nothing of use is coming from that series that’d help a F1 team.
@@Redlingstein Pretty sure no one is in all F1 meetings, so that’s a daft argument. She’s no need to be in F1 technical or rules meetings for instance, it’d be a total waste of her time, because she’s not in F1.
I've been following this story intensively but I do have a question, which Spice girl was Susie?
Sensible Spice
Boring spice
Oregano
Cilantro
Together with her husband they are Salty and peper
You ask for our opinions, but honestly, this situation has made me speechless.
now the FIA has said that Sulayem has hurt something in his leg and he won't attend... while deleting videos of him walking
Having Ben Sulayem after Jean Todt as FIA Boss is like doing Collage and then going back to the kindergarten
i feel like the fia is trying to sabatoge themselves
I think we should start a baseless rumor to get an investigation started. Anyone got any ideas?
Kelly piquet is dating Oscar Piastri.
In other news, we could start saying that Ross Brawn informed Horner of the regulations for 2022 in 2016.
Absolutely baseless but funny none the less
I heard sulayem is an alcoholic
How about: there'll be a sprint race in Monaco in 2025.
@@ethanwatt-dz3xqhe drank alcohol in Saudi while kissing a man in public in front of a mosque. Let me be banned
Would say there could be an opening in the FIA for Will, but then where would we get our Indy coverage to tell us what's happening to Sting Ray Rob.
As conspiracy theories go, I think there’s a powerplay unfolding. Not about the unhappy lovebirds Wolff, but between FIA and Liberty. LM wants money and would walk across your grave for it. FIA is only there to set the controls for the series, but they’d like a deciding vote. Between the two, I’d go with the FIA, it being a world championship needing to be somewhat fair and representative and sportive. But this Sulayem guy, who is he anyway? I’ve never heard of him before he was appointed. Todt, Brawn, Domenicali, they were in the sport already. They are also all ex-Ferrari… as an aside.
This clown cares more about his hair than sports, it seems. You can just smell the Dapper Dan. I think he’s a straw man, who believes the lies they told him about being The Big Man. I hope he realises it soon and starts to fight back for real. Could be a future good movie in there.
He's been shit at his job as FIA president, but Sulayem isn't exactly a nobody who materialized out of thin air lmao. He's a multi rally champion, has held multiple positions within the FIA, and has put in the work to help expand motorsports into the middle east in the years before his appointment to FIA president.
Google is your friend.
I think For Liberty Media ideally they want to get rid of FIA’s involvement in F1 so they can control the sport and cut every corner to minimize costs
@@LoganSLRLockwood it's easier to feign ignorance to make your hate seem important. Lol!
Sulayem was a 14 time Middle East Rally champion.
How dare he want to investigate a woman! LOL
Replace him with Seb.
This but unironically
F1: We investigated ourselves and found nothing wrong, carry on.
FIA: Lgtm
So the misogyni card that Susie Wolff pulled worked wonders I see.
The FIA blinked. To put it politely.
No idea what the fuss is about. Some one raised an allegation. The FIA has to investigate it. Thats thier job. If they find nothing fine. Intestigating does not mean they are guilty. They can check processes are in place to ensure there can be no disclosure of advantageous information
The issue was that the allegation had no credibility. The "investigation" was solely from that sexist BusinessF1 article, which produced no evidence for their speculation other than "she's married to Toto so she'll do what he says'.
The allegation came from a single media outlet with the reputation of false reporting
@@keonxd8918Its still up to the FIA to investigate if it deems there to be a potential reason to do so.
MAYBE yeah we can say this is a stretch, but it's entirely within their perview to do this as they see fit.
And if they find nothing? Great! Then it's a nothing burger
This freak out episode about it seems to be faaaaaarrrr more political than the fact the FIA did this little investigation to begin with
At this point I guess even Michael Masi was more competent than this bloke... (Not saying it because I am a Mercedes fan, actually I am Aston Martin gang)
how ? just how the investigationing into moley mole was quicker than Verstappen
Well, people have been asking for a silly season, and silly season they will get.
Now I want to see a drunk Toto scrap it out with Sulayem at the FIA gala 😄
I hope they don't fire the clown, he and his ego are hilarious.
FIA talking points: 1) We're satisfied that all of the correct procedures are in place. 2) We have no idea if anyone is actually following those procedures - and we don't want to know.
Still suprised Ben Sulayem was allowed to stay on as president after his weird speech/comments during the prize ceremony last year
Can't piss of oil money...
A very controlled reaction… are you ok😜
So hilarious how the mercedes fans get mad at rules when getting caught over and over again...😂
It is good to know the FIA has ways to prevent a married couple of telling things to eachother when they are at home.
@@Redlingstein You do realise my comment was sarcastic right?
@@RedlingsteinI’m not reading all that mate
At this point? They literally always have been the bane of motorsport.
Sounds like you get your knees before the race and open your mouth for Mercedes
Toto seems like the most untrustworthy team principal
I think my favorite and one I might have to get is the od green arkfeld pro!
FIA looked into the allegations like they did not seal manhole covers down in LA
You mean LV, right?
It was my attempt at being funny. FIA cannot investigate anything looking in the wrong place.@@VerySwearyFairy
i miss when f1 drivers could make minor contact without an investigation
Not really; what had happened is yhat B. Sulayem has looked around the room and had seen ALL the teams lineing behind Domenically and that someone has lead him to think that that would never happen... and he is feelling that in the next Concordia Agreement somebody may have forget to include a place for him and the FIA
I want Masi back D:
At least Masi tried...
I don't. He's happy back in Australia, doing a great job in Supercars where he is respected. He doesn't have to engage extra security to protect his family from psychotic Hamilfans. He's better off here.
They can talk about inside info at the fcking dinner table
Would not trust that man to run a lemonade stand let alone the FIA. The sooner he's gone the better and don't look for replacement on the sportswash peninsula. (edit: said F1 meant to say FIA)
Ben Salyim... what a mørøn.
Theyve always been a joke, welcome to the rest of us Will 🦅
0:33 about a week AGOOOOO
the fia saw modern fom incompetence and said, hold my fucking beer
also re: 2 years ago. i still make a spot out of winding up senna fans about shit that happened over 40 years ago. this sport hasn't changed
also, thinking about it, the last time the teams were this united was when they wanted rid of max Mosley from the same role (nazi orgy guy)
Good characters rarely have Cruella DeVille hair. The costume department knows better.
F1 having 3 GPs at USA IS A WORSE JOKE
Fia and fom have been clowns since their formation lmao
I liked Sulayem better when he was just that one guy from DiRT 2.
I only found out he was a real person when he became the head of the FIA.
I'm always surprised to see MBS doesn't topple over when he's walking. When they decided they needed a new head of FIA they weren't cutting corners.
NOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST INVESTIGATE POTENTIAL CRIMES!
I blame Nikita Mazepin for all of this
"...two fargin' years..." Try fifteen!! Some thinking its rational to get Massa a WDC that is now in Lewis' pocket is a hoot!
Renault cheated in 2008 and FIA suspicion or knowledge of that *does not* void the entire event. It should void Alonso's P1 but it hasn't even done that. Doing that would give Hamilton two more points for the year...Not what Felipe was hoping for.
Why do we expect F1 to be squeaky clean when we put up with the shit we get from politicians and huge corporations
Bring back Ecclestone and Masi
I think they (FIA) will all end up in hell just like FIFA. Aand when they arrive, all the inmates will chant "YOU DESERVE IT!"
Will I think you should be grateful. It's mid week and theyre giving you free content.
I think one of the teams actually complained in hushed tones anonymously, not to get any punitive measure against Toto just to get him watching his back. We are always saying in F1 its the milliseconds that count. Now the couple really has to watch what they say to each other.
Suzie Wolff should have been turned down for conflict of interest long before getting any job like that
MBS was, is and probably always will be, a count of the first order.
Are we ready for "Formula Racing League"?
The FIA did exactly what any sporting body would do in a situation like this, there are examples of other investigations anoucments in other sports not mentioning names but everybody knowing who is meant anyway. SO an allegation was made, FIA investigated and done, whats the big problem?
This invalidates like half of Hamilton's championships. He's also a fraud.
I swear off seasons keep on giving each year.
If it's not f1 then it's indycar... And if not indycar then it's f1 again
At THIS POINT?? LOL!! You're 2 Years LATE!!
Lewis Hamilton is washed, I doubt he’ll ever win again
So this is the next person to lose their job to the Merc propaganda? XD I wonder who's next. They made it about Sussie and we still have no explanation of how Toto had access to confidential info 👀 masterfully played
I rolled my eyes so hard when I read that bullshit statement from the fia
Mercedes got lucky in Abu Dabi 2021 because Lewis clearly blocked Mazepin at pit exit in free practise, would have been a 10-grid penalty.
Now, Mercedes attacked Masi after the race and therefore were in full control of the story. Obviously hurting Red Bull. Lewis, George and Toto have thrown false accusations all season towards Red Bull about (amongst others) a flexible floor that never existed and never apologised.
All that’s happening now is that Red Bull uses the FIA to successfully harm Mercedes.
The problem isn’t the FIA, the problem is Toto starting to play this game. This is merely the start of some payback that’s all.
No need to get angry or frustrated, no need to change anything in the FIA. There will always be ways to play this game regardless of who’s in power in the FIA.
Packback has begun, we haven’t seen the end of it, it won’t stop and accepting it saves a lot of frustration.
Well, Toto could try to wave the white flag and apologise, that would probably do it. But that sounds unrealistic doesn’t it.
Susie played the sexist card, but the allegations were not actually sexist .. they were libelous but not sexist.
I haven't got a lot to say as I think you've said everything I would have, but I ended up watching some of your older videos because I needed to catch up on 2 years of content and I just want to say that I think you've really grown as a content creator, or youtuber, or twat with a microphone, take your pick!
You're still a cynical, vindictive bastard, but that's why I've subscribed to your content and why everyone loves you and that.
As long as you keep putting videos out, I'll keep watching them like a mug.
Just commenting to say that I appreciate you and that (also for the algorithm cause you know how it is). I look forward to your next video!
Legend! Thank you!
it all started downhill when they kicked out v10's 😂
Why would it be a problem if the FIA didn’t tell Mercedes? It’s an investigation of allegations. Just as a health inspector doesn’t give a restaurant for warning of their inspection why would the FIA inform the potential rule breakers of their inspection? Besides the FIAs hands were tied as it was alleged something against the rules was happening so they needed to investigate. Truthfully this is just another dumb off season story. It’s not like we didn’t know who Toto and Clarke were married to for years.
The fact that a team owner and owner of a league are allowed to be married with each other is fucking joke lets be honest. Toto or his wife should be asked to leave the sport
At some point can we not realise that resorting to shrill cries of sexism and misogyny are absolutely an admission of guilt??
If the allegations are so baseless and nonsense then you should be able to argue them on their merit🤷🏻♂️
While I think sexism is often an easy claim, I do not blame Susie Wolff at all for making the response that she did. Regardless of what you think of Toto, I think she's earned her job and I trust that she takes it seriously. That said, if it really is that much of a conflict of interest, then that should have been addressed before giving her the job in the first place.
No one in Formula 1 seems to actually think this is even credible so it seems like a bunch of nothing to me. Makes the FIA look REALLY bad.
I do wonder if this has anything to do with Andretti somehow.
Alleging sexism with ZERO evidence of it being the case is beyond moronic
That's just a bludgeon to hit an organization with because you want to enflame your support base more for your side of the argument.
NOTHING about this "incident" (the fact that it is seen as such is itself ridiculous) has anything to do with her being a woman. It just so happens that a person that Toto is married to IS a woman as is almost always the case.
This sets a bad precedent going forward. Undoubtably more women will get into senior positions in the sport, as always happens. If criticisms and incidents can be thrown under the rug because the spectre of sexism prevents accountability going forward, how on Earth are the rules supposed to be enforced?
@@Redlingstein This is all speculation, and relatively baseless as far as I can tell. The whole problem with this is that it demonstrates how people make assumptions and report a story based on a single, unsubstantiated rumor.
You're just contributing to the problem.
How did he really get that job?
Bring Massi back! 🧐
No they're not... not yet. Not until they restore Michael Masi to his rightful place. That will be funny and they will completely be too when that happens.
MBS needs to bring back Michael Massi!!!! Just to figuratively watch heads explode
“For some reason they let this f’&ktard out of his cage again”😂😂😂 no holds barred
The fia is not the issue, it's Mercedes, they how too much power within the f1, the only good thing is the f1 couldn't exist without the fia. F1 couldn't be where they are without the fia.
It's not like Ferrari can overturn a protest just because they have privileges for being in F1 for so long
Ah yes, the good old FIA shit show...
Put Seb in charge.
SULEMAN have absolutely NO IDEA what F1 is and what he's doing, the guy just needs to be REPLACED ASAP.
While STEFANELI is even BIGGER PROBLEM than this guy as its all POLITICS for him not F1 but he knows how to STAY BEHIND THE SCENES not attracting attention to him .. He just NEEDS TO GO into SHADOW REALM.
I miss Jean Todt
I am that friend.
So you mean to tell me that susie have secret information and the FIA didn't do Anything about it
I do feel this report is being terribly kind to mohammed bin dodgy.
FIA is always been a joke since 2021
You mean there was a point where they weren't a joke?
Susie Wolff is famous, successful, and rich. Why is she wearing a sack in the picture at 1:32
I vote for Jean Alesi to replace him 🥳
This subject is even more boring than an F1 single file procession, sorry, race!
Damn this is hilarious !
Most F1 fans know the FIA is a joke, they continue to prove it even in the off season.
What is the FOM??
Formula One Management
Formula One Management, I guess, If i am right, it is a about the broadcasting rights and such.
I think that FIA think they are too big to fail. Well they need to get out of F1 before no one wants to watch it. I really like the sport till FIA started screwing over certain teams, making calls after the race is over and not listening to driver. Instead they are supposed to be helping the sport. No one sprint racing. It’s a nightmare for the teams. Good job. Hopefully F1 will decide to move on.
Money talks unfortunately
MIchael Massi FIA president 2024
"So I don't normally post mid-week" You had to start the sentence with an unnecessary *So* didn't you? It’s just sad.
Maybe we can get Masi back? I miss him!!! 😎
He's doing a great job in Supercars and has a lot of respect here. I wouldn't go back if I was him
