Very interesting. There used to be a programme called Mud Men with Johnny Vaughan, where he'd go mud larking along the shores of the Thames. It was amazing what they used to find - old coins, clay pipes, bits of ancient pottery etc.
Thinking for my self and mine , without positive movement the tide stops turning . hate being a wasted emotion , hating yourself should guarantee being Left behind . Wishing you safe travels always V S .
Lived right on the Thames on the west elbow at Canary Wharf, I loved the history of the East side...not so much whom occupies it now. I'm a million miles from London now, not even English or British myself, but do miss what that river meant to the city, the kingdom, and the country.
Excellent stuff! But one is always horrified at the sight of the hideous and ubiquitous modern(ist) architecture blighting contemporary London. Stunningly bad!

Thanks Vinnie, another very interesting video. Cheers
Nothing interesting about a criminal harasser who changed his name from Vincent Burke.
Fascinating perspective.
I love to walk along the Thames . The Thames is one of London's last great open spaces , we should keep it that way .
fascinating stuff, that stone ramp into the river does look mediaeval

Well presented but you omitted to tell us what it was exactly that you were looking at?! 🙄

Estate agents call them modern apartments Lord Scruton called it architectural vandalism. Yet the river still runs and always will.

When the camera man panned around, I saw a lot of new buildings that I didn't recognise and that were damn ugly.
