- First snowmobile ride for 2022, Decided to drop in Irish Town NB.
Found some surprise culverts we did not know where in there.
The snow was fluffy powder in a fair amount of sections so the sleds did not ride on top of the snow the best.
We did a short ride as the trail conditions were not the best,
We trailered out of Irishtown and went to Memromcook later in the day.
Was better sledding.

Bad day sledding beats sitting inside in the winter. It beats a good day at work too.
It truly does.
Damn that suks...so was the sled totalled
Had it fixed the following week
It's my first time hearing a 4 stroke sled. Doesn't seem right. The drain thought so too ( bummer though).
Nothing beats the sound of a 2 stroke besides the flutter from a turbo.
Just super tired of working on 2 strokes.
4 strokes pretty much put gas and go.
N/A less maintenance.

Here is another one of my videos that has some different sounding 4 strokes and 2 strokes. I think we were all 4 stroke except the srx 700 tripple
Gotta have lots of money to ride before or after the trails are open in my Northern Ontario, too many rocks and stumps. There's usually a reason why they aren't open, usually has to do with safety!
I learned it the hard way when I was younger, I went out onto a big lake in early January and hit open water after about a half mile. I had to run water for over 5 miles to get to safety. I tell people not to go out alone and wait for good conditions. Tell someone where you are going and when you plan on returning...
@@davidbrennan5you rode 5 miles of open water ALONE. And no one knew where u were ? That’s scary to think about
@@FUNKER420 Yup, I was young and stupid, going to see a girl who worked at a marina. I almost ran out of fuel on the way back too, I wasn't planning on taking the long way back... I told people I was going sledding but not where, that was a mistake, this was before cellphones.
Like the sound of that Yamaha gives me happiness
Me tooooooo 🙃
Damn so unlucky 😐
Good Video 👌💜👍
Ya was a bit of a day that day but remainder of the year has been pretty good.

Need to wait for groomer and trails to be deemed as open 😩
That’s crazy. Bad luck. Two sleds in such a short time. Heartbreaking.
It was a bit of a rough start to the season but overall we had a pretty good season of sledding in the end.
Gotta stay on the trail
That's the funny thing. It was the snowmobile trail. Just not groomed yet. Lol
Thanks for watching
Not to mention the pinch point at the gas station after the first wreck.
Looks like a lot of snow
enough to sled but was not enough base ride on, we have fair conditions now.
This is why I like deep powder, and speed is ur friend, keep those skies up
100% but we don't get to much deep powder around here. Would be nice to have some snow. Lol had 1 to 1.5ft but rained 15-20 mm of rain with plus 10 degrees Celsius temperatures. Alot melted. Then Today -10 degrees Celsius. Quite icey right now. Hoping for more snow. 🙏
@@LUCAMTire where do u live down here in southern Ontario we aren’t getting even enough to ride. Maybe 3 or 4 inches and then rain. I do all my riding in northern Ontario North Bay area
@@FUNKER420 southern New brunswick
We had around 1ft the other day but yesterday it rained Cats and dogs. Now we have 2 inch of hard snow with ice.
Suppose to have more snow in the forecast. Will see what happens. Things have not really froze here. Has been pretty mild so far.
Did one trip this winter so far. 200km.
Can trailer 2-4 hrs north for better snow but hard to justify traveling every weekend.
That’s a sick feeling damaging a new sled like that. I feel the pain for those guys. Sucks…. I ride motorcycles and atvs but they don’t hold a candle to riding my snowmobiles and going out and hitting the trails with friends….
It was a little bit of a rough start to the season but we all had a pretty decent season in the end.
That's the only thing good with the newer sleds the control arms and anything outside the bulkheads just tear right off! I clipped a boulder last year Hard!! And it just ripped the control arm right off! I was back on the snow in less than 24hrs!
Glad your ok and yes they are some times easier to fix which is nice.
Need MORE flotation. Ski Doo Elan.
I hit a hidden rock last year and wasted an A arm. I put the sled down for the rest of the year since it was late in the season. Just got it fixed and ready to go. That sucks, just left the parking lot. Are you in New Brunswick? I’m straight over on the opposite side of Maine by New Hampshire. Bad start the the snow season. Good luck
We are in New Brunswick
Ya it was kind of a bad start for are first run but has been good going sense. we got around 1.5 to 2.5 feet of snow now where im at. hoping for more :)
@@LUCAMTire were getting 5cm today and a bunch saturday i heard 👍
Now I know why I gave up snowmobiles for motorcycles !!
what did you get for a bike?
I would like to get another sled. Im also in N.B but we barely get a month of riding these last few years. Ya gotta trailer them up to blackville or marimichi to get any use. Im from outside fredericton we only have maybe a foot right now
Ya we have not been getting to to much snow the past few years but last year i ended up geting 1200km in on mine for the snow we had.
Thats with blowing a motor. lol
This year prolly did around 500-600km so far.
Trails are pretty decent for the amount of snow.
It is definitely expensive for the short time we have to use them. I called it quits on alot of other power sports but i dont think i can give up sledding.
@@LUCAMTire i went out and bought a boat last year. Doesent seem as expensive as sledding. Not as fun but its alot warmer lol
@@dirkdiggler4860 nice.
Boating is fun,
Not enough snow 🤷♂️ i got cought on a train track switch once. Broke the ski right in half. Sent me fo a spin around really quick. Sucked big time. Had to limp back to the road then put the broken ski on the pavement and run er home at a buck ten sparks flying 40 feet in the air. Was i ever cheesed fml
that would be a little scary
lol didn't look like a trail, expensive mistake and well to be honest it kind of looks like you guys earned it. it really blows to sled sometimes
It is a trail right after a storm not groomed yet early in the season. We learned our lesson for sure to wait for a base but with our winters around here not being very good or knowing how much snow we will get we took our chances and the damages happened.
The year before we had maybe 2 to 3 weeks of sledding unless you wanted to trailer north 3 hours away to start.
Seems the winters here are getting shorter and shorter.
This year was semi decent for snow in the end.
One part of our winter this year got 4ft of snow within two weekends the 2 days later we had bare fields with grass from a rain storm. Pretty crazy how fast it changed then got snow again. Hard to predict how much snow we wi get.
@@LUCAMTire I live in Ontario, one day I get 12 inches two days later its gone. Used to ride first week of November, now most winters its early January. I rip my A frames to shreds all the time just cuz of early riding. I have learned my lesson many times over
You guys ever hear of riding on groomed trails?….. maybe I’m wrong but those look like peoples back yards, not trails?
they are the snowmobile trails. groomer did not go through yet.
The part of the video is cutting across a golf coarse.
The second part of the video is at a community center.
Both sections we drove right where the groomer passes.
apparently both spots have culverts the groomer passes over.
What did the guy on Red Machine Hit?
a culvert. snowmobile trail passes over this section. groomer must just pack the snow down to be able to pass over it. we were their before any groomer passed. it was our first decent snow fall we had to be able to go out, but snow was fluffy with no base.
Decent sledding now we have a base.
First ride of the year I bet.. Need more snow.. All you hear is scratching n grinding.. Your own fault..
Groomer hast been through yet. Trail was most likely not fully open
Trail was not groomed yet. No.
big money boys! with there toys! who cares!
Thanks for watching.
Why would you broadcast a video with language like this?
Same reason why one would search snowmobile accidents or want to click and watch a video with (snowmobile accidents) in the title of the video?
Thanks for your comment
This is why I just rip cheap vintage stuff
They are sort of vintage. Lol 😆
That was a fucked up run lol
I'll never understand why people buy Yamaha snowmobiles..
What is your preferred sled?
I have as much fun riding my 96 Phazer LE long track as my Skidoo Summit 163"
Ride slow till u hit the actual trail boys
Slow is
What happened to the other two not keeping there ski's up. But ya first big storm with a bunch of fluff does not help are situation. Should have waited a day to let the snow densen up.
Thanks for watching
Big deal...When the New Jersey kids come to the Adirondacks we see worse.🤦🏻
Ya for sure.
I seen a few wrecks this year that can't or should not be posted to social media.
Took a few of the mild ones to be able to make a video.
I think he said the word fuck once or twice
HAHAHA It is a good possibility considering the situation. AHAHA
@@LUCAMTire 🤣 oh id be cussin my lips off that was my sled. I feel the pain
@@yourselfdotcom Luckily buddy got his sled fixed the same week. There was another guy seling another sled at a fair price so was back on the trail before the next weekend. Which was good
