Dismantling the tank turret! - Hey folks, let's strip the tank turret! Exciting. Let's disassemble the tank turret. Now that the tank turret is here, where's the tank turret? Is no longer a question. Interesting.
Every time I see the extent of the rust I'm in shock. It looks like it came from the bottom of the ocean.
It came from the UK, that's not far off from the bottom of the ocean
luckally for them armour works just as well against rust as is does against armour piercing rounds! Even with all of the rust, there is still a lot of steel left!
True, it sunk next to the Titanic.
Its from Brittany so yea it did came from the bottem of the ocean...
I'm actually always surprised it's not worse :P
6:23 emil smashes dirk on the head with a giant mallet 😂
Dirk doesn't even flinch!
I have no idea how I came about this channel, but I have been pulled in and watched about 4 of the episodes. These guy’s are amazing! Need to find a back story on them.
You guys are amazing. Very impressive work. I am in Australia but my late Dad was born in The Hague. The Dutch are hard workers!
Thank you for the proper subtitles. I can understand 100% of what is happening.
Those boxes you didn’t know what they were for?
The gunner’s sandwiches.
iT's FoR tHe mAchInE gUn AmMo 🗿
So ye saying a man took sandwiches to war....
*idk man sounds very heavy weapons guy to me*
I love watching this , I would imagine sandblasting this lot would be very therapeutic . Hopefully you will go thro all this with the grit blaster to get all the crap off ,Great stuff guys well done , keep it coming .👍😎
They already did
I wish I was watching this from years in the future so I could see the entire thing without having to wait! D:
thank you for restoring the tank just think how the tank crew will be happy seeing their t ank being restored thank you man very much
You two are the poster boys for patience and perseverance - I hope CZcams is giving you a good deal
Best restoration ever
Hai i am Nazri from Malaysia...i so happy watch your video... good luck
Love the pink HEFTRUT!!
Must be hard for you guys to keep restoring this junk, cleaning rust after rust on most tight spot.
Huge respect for your team!!
Some guys restorating a tank; load‘s of rust, crane to lift heavy steel parts, massive hammers, welders, angle grinder...oh and cuddling a cute dog sitting inside the dismounted turret🥰😁
@fuxs +3 everything better with dog near by
The subtitles for this episode were excellent, thankyou, enjoyable as usual, getting close now.
so amazing to watch your journey of restaurating this old tank! keep up your positivity and the great work!!
Easily the best tank rebuild on the net!
Great video! How many lines of text does Dirk have? Hahaha! Emile is talking and talking and fooling around while Dirk is quiet and working his ass off!
No worries, Emile is working hard as well.
t54/55; most produced tank ever. 100,000 made. Bet they could have bought a fully working model much cheaper than what it's costing them to rebuild/restore/refabricate a wreck. Still, fun to watch.
I hope you have footage of where everything goes back on.
We still have to wait for that. The turret is at the sandblasted right now so I think they will get it back next week
@@Cako1000 he meant footage of the deconstruction, so they know where to put everything back
They do. They made a joke about it on one of their workshop vlogs.
They have the IKEA instruction guide for the Bandvagn
Love the tank content. Keep it up!
All those parts... putting it back later will be interesting
I'm always amazed at this. There's no obvious sign that they're making notes or taking photos, but I can't imagine they do it all from memory?
They take lots of videos. That should work.
@@obdacz Haha.
I disassebled a tank turret, blew 250 yards downrange! Love my baby birds (AGM-114 mod's A thru L) >;-)
So relaxing to watch
Curious if you're able to keep the gun, but in a non functional state of course. Not sure if this was addressed in a previous video or not, this is my third video being watched with you guys and I'm fascinated! Keep up the great work :)
For those wondering why so much rust, here's a very likely reason.
First of all, this came from a desert, in a desert, there's a lot of sand, sand is evil, it's coarse, and it gets everywhere. So less lubrication and most seals get chewed up by said sand.
Second of all, this went to UK, which every person who went to school knows is at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean (they like to think they aren't but let's be honest, there's so much rain, that it's a mood, not a theme).
By the power of these two combined, this tank had no chance, especially since it wasn't made in Russia, where they soak the metal in vodka, which is a rust inhibitor, among other things.
So there you have it.
Awsome job guys! Too bad MasterMilo videos so rare!
You should watch the WerkPlaatsVlog channel, if you want to see a lot more. It's all out there.
@@Smartzenegger I am watching vlog, but English subs not always there :(
@@newerend2486 Nowadays, at the end of the videos, they make an English summary, so you can understand what they have done and talked about in the video.
Hele mooie samenvatting camerateam. Helmaal top vaksjaken. Geniet van het weekend!
Love all the work you guys are putting into get this up and running, great series of videos
congrats to your video guy and some superb editing - amazing to get so much film footage squashed down to a 15 minute video - and great work guys, looking forward to the turret rebuild lots
Glad to find this comment. Very nice camera work and the edit has a good tempo and rythm to it. Dismantling progresses much faster than real life but you still get a sense of each step. Bravo to film crew!
@@MrTenad yep - damn good effort - it takes some effort but a great job - i watch another guy who just seems to sit in front of the camera and chat a lot, because he forgets to set the camera up, the only reason i watch him, coz he sounds like Max Headroom - i often wandered where he went hehe
Nice and good working !
In this eposide: Milo makes fire, and Dirk finds a really big hammer.
I always wonder how much weight the tank lost after all because of the rust that they removed but didnt replace with new metal. I know relative to the total weight of the tank its a stupid question. Still, i want to know.
you boys knuckle in top stuff trouble shooting metal fabrication lads ,been following from time of purchase of T54 cheers for subtitles 👊👊👍🤟
Hello to the 148 people waiting for the premier!
You never realize how small soviet tanks are until you see people next to one, this T-54/55 is in horrible conditions, you guys are going to have some fun for sure, that MG mount alredy kept you busy for a bit
beautiful work, best project, respect 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Asian fan here!!
Muy buen trabajo 👍💪🏻
You Guys are mad and I love it!!! :D

you got me so excited for it to just have to wait 30 mins. :(
I hope the electronics can be repaired or replaced.
One little trick for rusty bolts. When you heat them to red use water. Cool it down so you can touch it with hand
Awesome, well done
6:23 It's going to break his head! 🤣
how on earth do you guys remember how to put it back together
great video. Wish you had english subtitles on the other channel.
Merci ! Super video
11:36 My russian is getting pretty good!
xD
I have been in an M4A1 twice in my life. What a dream to build a tank.
Finally.
J’adore je m’abonne 🇫🇷
Juste l’allemand difficile à comprendre lol
at 8 .. is that for the 12.7mm tuska mount?
the metal bin filled with rusty tank parts,do they send it elsewhere to be chemical or sand cleaned?
11:45 - storage for co-ax ammunition boxes?
Nice! But I'm thinking that engine needs another test fire again... just in case lol
maaaan, I would love to see a laser rust removing on that turret o.o (gotta be expensive for sure :T)
Ruim de werkplaats op!
The bullet impacts looked like 50cal to me.
I struggle to understand where you get motivation to work on such a project. Do yo have a buyer? Are you going to sell it? How is this an investment? Its fun to watch but it would be nice to understand the whole picture . Would you please take a minute to explain this in a coming video?
I'm pretty sure they are fuelled by their love for tinkering and copious amounts of Jupiler beer!
You don't understand the motivation to own a functional (well, except weaponry) tank?
I bet the media blaster was like, you want me to clean what!?
So remember the lesson guys. It can’t be tight if it’s liquid! 😝
When in doubt, TORCH IT OUT :D
Soviet tank that was sold to Iraq and was captured by British is now being repaired by some guys from Netherlands. I bet those who built this would never imagine the journey this tank was on.
Chinese made tank, Soviet design
you guys should sell little jars of your tank rust.
Great Video! Please get Dirk some gloves, grinding\cutting\welding\torching with bare hands!
English subtitles great
I'm pretty sure these guys can restore the titanic
C'est parti ! ❤
Please for your safety wear goggles when welding. Other than that love the progress.
How do you keep track of all the parts you are removing?
Master Milo Master Mind.
They can go back and check the video.
