I was feeling really down today. Took a few minutes listening to this music, and so happened to scroll through the comments. There are so many caring, beautiful people in this world..I needed this today. Thank you all for posting about love...no hate or divisiveness
My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great.

Excellent, fantastic, and I did not realize it's stereo until put on earphone, through which, violin comes from left and viola from right respectively clear. What an enjoyment!
Sometimes I dismiss to comment about the Bach's music because there are persons with different point of view, but in fact Bach represents the the most pure and sublime gift of music composition, and together with this great rendition I only say thank you very much to the Quartet Quodlibet.

I got hooked on Bach when I was 14 years old, I’m 65, and I will always return to Bach. His compositions astound me and always will.
How is it that I hear a recorder and yet it is 3 stringed instruments? I believe it is the viola line and the amazing acoustics!!

Some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard! Bach really liked the viola and I'm sure he would have loved the playing in this rendition.
To have the Goldbergs in this setting is singular - surely one of the top half dozen places of worship in Christendom .

Amazing performance, and I share a previous comment about Bach',s genius being so great that his compositions admit many instrumentations and the result is always inspiring.....I heard some ten totally different instrumentations of another composition and was breathless afterwards...

Es wird erzählt, dieses Werk solle damals einem Menschen schlaflose Nächte versüßt haben. Mir hat es das heute getan!
Ein Streichtrio bringt die Eigenständigkeit der Stimmen viel besser zur Geltung, als ein Tasteninstrument. Und die Fähigkeit der Streicher zu dynamischer Differenzierung sowie der Einsatz von pizzicato und messa di voce machen diese geniale Musik noch ausdrucksvoller.
Dank an Bach, den Arrangeur und an die drei Ausführenden - vor allem aber an den, dem wir dieses Wunder an Schönheit letztlich verdanken: unserem Vater im Himmel (der vielleicht ebensosehr mütterlich ist - aber das ist ein anderes Thema).
