Engineers aren't jealous of the fucking wings.
Engineers are jealous of the fact that they have this little thing called muscles, this funny piston-like mechanism that can produce extremely large amounts of energy just by being flooded with certain chemicals

Its not really about flapping anyways, more about the aerodynamics of the wing shape. Efficiency and all that jazz.

Maybe they can build a plane to flap its wings hahahaha.

if you happen to know how the memory metal gets its original shape it would great if you could tell me cuz ive been wondering about that for a while now :) do they just melt it down and mold it?

If i was on a plane that moved like a bird i would probably barf on the guy next to me and shit myself

I don't think bird-like flapping could cause sickening because bird's body doesn't actually move when it flaps.

@nightblitzx It may be true if the plane is modeled after a swift. (best for a fighter jet). I'd bet future airliners would model after a soaring eagle or something that flies efficiently and steadily. When jet powered, they can do without the flapping. The flapping can cause sickening up-and-down movements. The engineers are smart enough to take the goods and eliminate the bads. In any case, a barf bag is always provided on airplanes. Though you have to worry about the underwear yourself. :-)
