This is one of my favorite series! I have a suggesition. How about to see if an engine can run on embalming fluid? From wikipedia: Typical embalming fluid contains a mixture of formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde, methanol, humectants and wetting agents, and other solvents that can be used. The formaldehyde content generally ranges from 5-35%, and the methanol content may range from 9-56%.

2stroke2smoke 2 strokes run better than 4 strokes because 2 stroke has a higher compression ratio usually. You can make the 2 stroke to run on diesel easy. You just have to increase compression ratio ( not the psi) close to the compression of a diesel. It will get verry hot fast thogh but the power its crazy ,like a diesel torque and a 2 stroke Rpm .Ive done that by shortening the cylinder a few mm(calculated verry well) to increase the compression ratio .

What do people rub with rubbing alcohol, anyhow? I always used it as a solvent/cleaner. I also came across some *ethanol* rubbing alcohol at the .99¢ Only Store once. Did double take on that one. Turns out it was denatured to make it undrinkable. No cut rate Everclear here! :(

The stuff you buy in the store like STP is highly diluted with kerosene, naphtha, or some other oil based carrier.

Please help some of us Motörhead’s out here... I always thought that a less than desirable “engine compression test” meant that the specific cylinder meant it was bad due to ring or valve failure. However, the way that you test your engine compression tests leads me to believe that no metal has been worn down and no blow-by is occurring. So for instance you run a motor on gasoline and it registers 103 on the compression. After running the motor on WD-40 for instance, it runs at 98. Would you please give us a very quick tutorial on how certain fuels create certain compression tests and what each psi rating means to each test? Thank you sir and keep up the great work/videos

No, it is no possible to do that be he will sure make a video. He will do anything for viewing hits. Back to your question, gasoline is the fastest component to lock a motor up tight when it gets into the oil crankcase. Happens all the time on mtd riders when carb float fails, allowing gravity to flow fuel into crankcase. An oversight on design. It will crank, and run a bit but smoke so bad you cant see, then lock up. Doesnt usually harm engine, simple drain and refill with oil and back to normal and of course fix the float issue immediately

The slow motion and music was cool. I bet the neighbors liked the smoke.😆 I buy the gallon jugs of WD-40 and put it in a spray bottle, it’s a lot cheaper.

Project Farm dam that was fast u really read your comments but have you done a vide were you put regular gas in a 2 stroke engine if I have not please do it please

Straight gas in a 2 stroke will cause significant cylinder wall and piston ring damage, likely in less than a minute. The longer it runs, the worse it gets, ultimately seizing and possibly breaking the connecting rod. Good stuff.

You can use it for starting fluid. Also it looks like it cleaned the cylinder fairly well.

The Wheelman we use kerosene in our heaters which is a bi-product of gasoline production or vice versa it is about 9$ a gallon here heard it is the same as diesel without dies
