- Hey guys, keep in mind this will only work on N/A V6 VX VU VY Ecu's
which are the Tan & Brown connectors.
Let me know if you need something more in depth or a physical wiring of it video.
Is it the same process with tuner pro RT ?
I haven't got either yet.

Awesome vid, just made my own harness and it works great! Bricked my first ecu after tryna do it in the car lol. Bench is the way to go

Yeah they are notirious for bricking when in the car. I went through quite a few!
@@RKGarage think I have possibly found a cure for rev hang in the manual tune too! Set Throttle follower to kph and drop gain values to zero. Hopefully means no more IAC up steps during gear changes

@@RKGarage did you find that it idles high after selecting manual options on enhanced bin? Think I need to adjust some tables but not sure where to start..
Didnt affect the idle at all

All stated in this video man, vx,vu,vy n/a are all flash based no memcal, yellow brown plugs are flash based
All pink blue are memcal

Hi mate how much do you charge to do that my Vox commodore will not start I’ve got all dash lights and have everything else but no start I’ve changed my drive module and put a brand new battery in it I put my tester on it and it says the ecu not talking to the engine I’m not sure what’s going on with it
Awesome videos, I'm trying to set up a freestanding vy ecotec, with switch and push buttons start, I'm after a pinout to find what I need to power to make it run, fuel pump wire, ect.. I've got a set up from what you have done here, is that all I'd need to get it going? Can just wire the starter separate?

@@RKGarage too easy! So I shouldn't have to get 12v power to, or earth any other pins in the ecu?
Aslong as vats disabled and set to manual it should fire up?

@RKGarage yeah I know I can do it in the car but not with my bench flashing harness not sure why I have done everything right I would rather do it on bench can you please help me out

Can you put l67 fuel and ignition maps into my vy holden ecotec ecu I heard it carnt be just swapped over?

I have just purchased the ALDL cable and Tunerpro software from Envyous Customs and from what i have found out through PCMhacking i need to purchase a NVRAM first???? thats about all i know so far in regards to the Memcal based ECU tuning .... 😏
Depends on what the ecu is. Does it have pink and blue plugs or brown and tan ?

I'm glad I could help.
At the moment I'm not releasing my lumpy idle tune as it makes the car a constant flamethrower and is no where near safe nor legal for road use.

Yes you need to get the bin beforehand.
