Hey Guys, In this video we get the L67 project car onto my newly bought dyno! We tune it using a NVRam board and TunerProRT Software! It rolled on with 195HP and came rolled out with 238HP!!! Not too bad of an increase for a tune only type deal!

how much of a tune did it need after the cam?
It always needs a full tune after a cam.
Mate how deep do you have to drill the start being the flywheel? Can you explain abit more the best you can? I don’t want a oily clutch that’s all 😂

Have you ever had any dfi modules or crank angle sensors constantly let go and misfire or just cut spark out on your ecotecs? My vs granted has had a dfi module wire repair, kills dfi modules and has a high idle, changed it out and the high stopped but misfires under more than half throttle. My vt is basiclaly dead not accepting any dfi modules not even new ones but started after replacing the crank angle sensor but I drove it home on a spare dfi module that does msifire, really annoyed at my cars. Thinking both cars need new looms and pcms as no one can digansose why a dfi module or coils or crank angle sesnors just let go.
Nah never have mate.
Check the wire joiners at the front of the motor, one splits off for the crank angle sensor, if it’s dodgy you’ll run into all sorts of weird issues, usually gives you the symptoms of a bad DFI or Crank angle sensor
I fell ya on the youtube front, you never get the return you put in. But can you change the GP fish eye lens to narrow lol. after several eastern emus I feel like I'm skydiving :P

Nope, cant run them with camshafts Went back to factory rockers
What's your thoughts on the bts3 cam? And did the heads need any machining? Thinking of the bts3 my self or something speedway spec.

It will plug in and work As for the fuel gauge that depends if they are the same series, as s1 and s2 read backwards to each other

With the old coilovers they made there wasn’t much threads inside the lower collar of the front struts unless you ran a really low height, have they changed that at all? I’m on the fence about buying them and I don’t want to get them to find I can’t run them at a SL/SSL equivalent height without losing strength from the threads in the lower collar. On that rear shock there seems to be some fluid leakage… is that the case or is the fluid from elsewhere?
Nah that was e85 Surge tank fitting had a leak

Yeah sorry the over all temps on the motor better yet was the motor really hot from the boost increase or do you think there’s more hp in it before you go intercooled @RKGarage

Yeah mate, thats what I use.
@@RKGarage so doing it in the car instead of the bench is it just plug the aldl cable into the obd2 port and then usb end into the laptop

sick build mate i got the same car as this one and thinking about making it just like yours i got a couple of questions. first is it a stock motor or not and is 7psi boost will kill it ? can i run 7 boost with the stock 4L60E with a transgo kit or smthing or even a corvette servo and i was thinking whats better a catback system or just throw in a cutout becuase its illegal here to remove cats im a beginer in thses things. and if you recomend any mods i can start with i would appreciate it much.
This runs 25psi no issues, its all in the tune. 7psi isnt worth spending all the money on a turbo kit for. Aim for 12-15 4l60e will be touch and go if it survives or not
@@RKGarage wow first thanks for replying you are telling me you are running 25psi on a stock engine im talking about the one that comes with the non-supercharged vy commodore i got that one and alot people say that its very robust but i really didnt expect it to handle that. so my car now only has a k&n intake and thats it im thinking about installing the PEA preformance catback kit and maybe a turbo next. + does installing a catchcan makes issues with vacume things. also do i need one and what size should i pick there is alot of options and no clear instructions
Hi was wondering how the S1 shifter was holding up? Seen a few bad reviews when using it in anger, but trend seems to be more positive on the T56 Mag-F, just wondering what your thoughts are on the shifter? Just reading the comments and see you’re completely redoing the powertrain on this car, doesn’t sound like it’s the shifter that’s prompted the change but any chance you could confirm that?
Nah it wasn't the shifter I was over rpm'ing the T56, also a T56 wont hold the power my new combo will be making so thats the main reason I'm going T400.

And was it just getting out of 2nd?

With the clutch are you using an aftermarket ecotec clutch or are you using a t56 conversation clutch

you might have to e85 convert the l67, they reckon because the fuel burns cooler it negates the need for a cooler to run smaller pulleys, feel free to correct me if ive been reading some bullsht haha
That is correct but Im not going to waste my time and effort for the M90. Screw doing an entire fuel system for a "daily"

I actually have no comment on that That was one thing I did want to test. I don't have any disposable income at the moment tho haha. In theory it should help, but who knows by how much
@@RKGarageat the moment I have the “10 psi” pulley, MSD Coils, super conductor leads, plugs gapped to 1.1mm, dual 2.5” exhaust, mace CAI Box (stock piping from throttle body down to pod) it’s going good, but I am noticing alot of heat soak if that’s the word, as in at night in the cold and engines cold, it feels way better than during the day when the airs hot and engine temps are hot. So trying to spend less than $2000 on a intercooler set, and gonna see if the 25mm spacer helps enough.
I run the 25mm spacer plate from Mace, it is noticeable when touching the blower after the motors been working. Havent used the laser to get numbers but it is noticeable 👍
When you say undo the engine mounts I presume you mean the top engine mount bolt? To be able to tilt the engine?
