I agree that the Amazo virus story would make a good game plot, could introduce new characters and as an ending recruited heroes could undergo a procedure to possibly keep their powers and remain a hero. Alternatively in a villain path Luthor could devise a similair thing as payment for their services(I doubt they would make Luthor good for what could easily be a one off game).

I like when Batman got a Lantern Power Ring. Though I see why that isn't counted on this list, as you're counting powers as natural, biological enhancements, or magical. Where as the Lantern rings would technically be tech item powers, like Iron Man, Green Arrow, Punisher, basically anyone that can pick up and put down their 'power items'.
But not anyone can use the lantern rings, the rings have to choose you as the user right? I'm just asking, I don't really know much about the Lantern Corps.
Correct, but that's like saying the Iron Man suit has a password to use it or some kind of eye reading scan first before it lets you work it. The Lantern Rings are still tech items, just really really advanced.

Actually a few alternate versions of him got superpowers in the DC Metal event. One had superspeed, one was part Atlantean, one was basically the god of war, one was a lantern, one was a cyborg, one perfected and took the doomsday virus, and one had joker's insanity (not sure if that last one counts.) There also apparently one whose part Barbatos.

I have mentioned this before, but when I saw a video about the Lantern Corps that would best fit Batman, a story about him being afflicted with a Red Lantern ring and struggling for control, and ultimately freedom from it, could be compelling.

Batman sitting in a super chair is equivalent to Hal Jordan wearing a super ring. Both have particular qualities that these instruments decide to lend their power to, but that power is definitely originating from the chair/ring and not the person itself. If Batman doesn't have any super powers as God of Knowledge, then Hal Jordan doesn't have any super powers as Green Lantern, which is kind of a ridiculous statement.
