It just hit me, as someone who consumes this content on a very regular basis, that there are MILLIONS of people that never even try to gain this kind of information even a little bit.
Its definitely depressing how few people really care about issues that affect all of us but the good news is that it only takes a small percentage of passionate people to make a change in the way we do things, including our American Revolution.
That is the large problem to our freedom…a large group is not paying Attention.

And so glad you mentioned Thomas Sewell too - he's absolutely one of the best thinkers I've found in our time too (along with you). People are searching for the Truth (so we can make informed decisions for ourselves and family and you help them find it without a lot of bias (or political agenda) - this is why I keep coming back! 100% agree, so glad you brought this up about the debate. I lost so much respect for doctors in Canada, when they were forced to tow the line or lose their medical licenses. Science is not about shutting down questions and debate.

I think if anything, this past pandemic has definitely taught us that we should take health much more seriously even before a pandemic strikes. No matter what anybody says, diet and exercise are very important.

My boy at 1 year old spoke around 10 words. 2 days later after he took the vaccine he stopped talking. Now at 5 he still not talking,instead has a brilliant mind. At 2.5 years he knew the alphabet both ways,around 3 he wrote 1st word,now he is writing sentences and is reading. On top of this he understands 4 languages.

I struggle with generational trauma. Being a small business man of whom took over a family business, I have always been very introverted. I had to teach myself how to “get out of my shell,” so to speak.
I run a tire shop/retail business I took over 10 years+ ago in 2012.
Some would look at me as successful, but I’m not even close to what I want to and set out to accomplish. I have some things I need to deal with, and your podcast has been a stepping stone in that process.

Thank you for saying all that, it needed to be said. Government should never be involved in forcing medical decisions. They should only put out information equally representing all sides and let people decide for themselves.

Sweden did much better than almost all of Europe including the totalitarian nations that imposed masks, lockdowns and other draconian measures. Sweden got it right by using focused protection for the vulnerable instead of the one size fits all approach.

The problem isn't that experts got it wrong but they were not humble when they got it wrong but rather doubled down.
I'll tell you EXACTLY what Fauci could have done. "We don't know what we are doing, it's an evolving situation. We will evolve with it and keep you informed." I got the first covid also. March 19, 2020 and I lost 26lbs in 4 weeks. It was brutal because I was (still am but less so) overweight, diabetic and asthmatic.

I completely agree with the idea that it is damaging or undesirable to give voice to the opposition. Firstly, because ignoring it doesn't make it go away, especially dissenting views that are reasonable or compelling. Secondly, debating a dissenting view that is coming from the lunatic fringe exposes it as such. Thirdly, it demonstrates the resilience of the truth being promoted. Fourth, by not debating the opposition it brings suspicion to those promoting the narrative, that they have something to hide.
What we could have done differently was to try harder to find therapeutics that would counteract covid when you got it rather than only concentrating on a vaccine. Often, in medicine, we repurpose drugs that are already in existence to help combat a different and new disease.... they could have also taught people to eat well, take prebiotics, stay hydrated
But those approaches would not allow the control you get when you become the sole authority to tell people what to do and what to think

Vitamins are a scam, you dont absorb most of it and you are throwing off the balance of nutrients in your system. Eat a variety of healthy (preferably soil grown) foods and you will get all the nutrients you need in the correct balances and in the form your body was meant to ingest it.

Quarantine was totally wrong. You don’t lock down healthy people, you quarantine those who are ill. But, even more important is that the border is not controlled. Had people coming in from infected areas been isolated upon arrival at the border and further travel stopped from infected areas, perhaps then we could have contained the contagious virus without the governors (it was state based) having to shut down small businesses and schools. Note that larger corporate businesses and “essential” services were still operating. As a RN, I worked in ERs, in rural areas, during the pandemic and watched an interesting spread from urban areas, many with universities with returning students. I got jabbed, didn’t get sick from taking care of patients but ended up with Covid after going on a cruise that was screened and full of vaxxed passengers.

The “reasonable” part has been hard to find ever since 2015 or so. I like to be challenged with good arguments and I find that PBD tries to do just that. Good job!

As a nurse and got the jab, I agree with Pat in debating the legitimacy of the vax. I just finally got covid last September (surprised I lasted this long) maybe it was the vax, maybe It’s cuz I try to live as healthy lifestyle as I relatively could, but it’s was nuts how people were forced to take it or else lose their job in the middle of a crisis of nurses quitting due to overwork was crazy. Debating vaccine efficacy/legitimacy is nowhere near giving an anti-semite a platform, that’s apples and tanks. Not a fair comparison.

Exactly...this guy explained what was going through my head. What cemented the view was...no one was dealing with folks who had already tested positive for Covid....just, take the vaccine.
This refusal to debate was the most disturbing thing about this whole thing for me. The host should have let the guest comment on Chomsky refusing to debate Sowell, especially after making that comment about not giving Nazis a platform! They always make that comparison when it is not anything like that! In the beginning of the pandemic, no one knew what was going on. No one had the complete truth so there was a lot less reason to shut out ideas and theories. There was every reason to listen to as many experts as possible from as many backgrounds as possible to figure out what to do. They should have called on as many thought leaders from as many disciplines as possible to get together and share information and research to find the best way forward. It was shocking how quickly political background became a criteria for listening to a doctor or scientist and not their medical or scientific pedigree! This was not the time to shut medical observations out! They refused to listen to what frontline doctors were seeing in their practice treating patients, and only listened to "experts" who had HEAVY ties to big pharma and only one political affiliation. That is enoug in itself to raise any thinking person's suspicions and foment distrust of government and media...
The reason trust in these institutions has fallen is because they have more and more become politicized. What they tell us is not based on objective truths, rigorous testing, and time-established methods, but is based on what is advantageous for their political cause. If their political cause aligns well with the truth, testing and methods, the trust will be there; if it does not align, the trust won't be there. To put it another way, the emphasis is on politics, not on what works.
I completely disagree with this guy. He’s the type of ilk that wants to silence people he disagrees with out of FEAR of a group of people hearing what he may say.
